Like many energy readers, my life was good. I was married, raising three children, living a very busy life. The days flowed through the school years and the seasons in Alaska, without much pause.

That was until I had a significant health change. My recovery required rest and letting go of my many responsibilities. This life-altering experience held the healing my soul was seeking. Maybe you can relate?

As my mind shifted into a completely new awareness. I found a peace and calm I had never known before. I discovered how easy it was to manifest my best life. What caused me stress lessened. Energy flowed, healing returned, my life became great in an entirely different way.

I still had the family, but my spiritual self was activated. Almost overnight I could tap into other realms and receive messages. My skills as a psychic medium grew and I knew I had to share these healing messages with the world. It didn’t take long for my business to grow and thrive by just word of mouth.

My journey led me from Alaska to Arizona, where I continue to do my work as an intuitive healer, offering personal astrology and energy readings to my clients. Whether it’s Zoom, phone, or in-person outside in my garden, my work continues to thrive. If you’re ready to explore intuitive healing or experience an astrological reading, I would love to work with you.

Whether it’s grief, loss, loneliness, or a personal quest to have a better life, I am here to help you. Please contact me today.

Revival

meditating2 Revival

I have been daydreaming about a lovely family vacation in Hawaii with my children and husband. I have also been wanting some easy travel in a hippy van with my husband and dogs. I imagine us sitting outside under the stars. Both sound really good right now! In the past, if I found myself needing a break from daily life, I would plan a trip. Maybe I would go, or I would not, but it was always an option. Currently, the thing I would like to get away from the most will join me wherever I am. The pandemic has created a shadow over the state of mind for many people and places. This is not all bad.

One of the blessings of our global health concern is a reminder of wherever you go, there you are. The only way to escape the feeling of crisis is to get comfortable with who you are and your relationship with everything. You can’t escape you or the Universe!

This outbreak could be the catalyst for us becoming a mindful and evolved species.

Honoring Our Connection

Honoring Our Connection Honoring Our Connection

What a gift we have, when we recognize the connections.

Several years ago I met an elderly woman, who I will always remember. Her name is Elli. She was strongly connected to the other side, but not yet ready to go. She shared how she has always experienced angels in her life and also how much she loved her family. Physically she was petite and frail with a tiny patch of purple in her hair.

All through her life brilliant showers of light would show up, reaffirming her awareness of God and her connection with the Angels.

Elli’s daughter is a friend of mine. She was concerned about her mother’s health, pain and fatigue. Elli was diagnosed with stage four cancer. This sweet little lady that sees angels, traveled from the East Coast to Anchorage twice, while I knew her. We eventually set up a regular call on Friday mornings for her to receive some healing energy and a guided meditation. At some point the stage four cancer was completely gone, yet Elli remained very frail, hungry and exhausted.  Through it all, she was riding the wave of awareness that includes love, most don’t understand. Her body was tired and shutting down, but she still enjoyed the sweetness in life.

The Habit of Fear

The Habit of Fear The Habit of Fear

Weeks ago, I was awoken in the middle of the night by coyotes just outside our house. They paused their trek long enough to loudly share a secret. One call, in particular, kept me awake. It sounded like spooky maniacal laughter. The next day I asked the dogs if they understood the message.

This morning there were flash flood warnings, rain, and lightning storms. I waited for a break in the storm before I headed up the hiking trail. I wore sandals because I needed to feel closer to the Earth. Supreme (my trail pup) and I slowly walked and splashed our way up the empty trail enjoying the mud and water in the washes. The rain brought out sweet and earthy smells from the plants and the birds were loudly sharing their insight. We could hear the coyotes far away. At the top, I took a picture of myself enjoying the clouds and open space. On our way down the mountain, we began to run into other people.  It was so good to share a moment of peace and happiness; a wonderful connection.

What I learned in Puppy Class

puppyclass What I learned in Puppy Class

After our big poodle Ringo died, we had one very sad, little poodle dog in Alaska.  We decided It was time for her to make the trip to Arizona.  We hoped that a busier house and the warm sun would help her spirits lift.  She had come into our lives at eight weeks old, a rescue from Fairbanks, Alaska.  My favorite name for her was Baby Dog, even in her adult years.  She loved people and our dog Ringo, but wasn’t so sure about most other dogs.

I wanted to find a companion for Baby Dog to grow old with.  I also wanted a dog that could be my trail pup.  I choose the name Supreme, before we knew when or how a new dog would enter our life.  I loved the name Supreme because it reminds me of our connection to all the good and lovely things in life.  I imagined that every time I called Supreme, I would be connecting to the wonderful, spiritual richness life has to offer.

I found a male poodle puppy that would hopefully become Baby Dog’s best friend and my trail partner.  On his second day with our family, my son and I walked and mostly carried him on my favorite trail. The next day I took him for a wellness check.  I was told he needed to stay in our home and yard exclusively until he reached 16 weeks old.  After his last Parvo vaccination Supreme would be free to leave our home.  I was disappointed, but put off puppy class and trail walks until he was safe.

Manifest Your Feelings

manifestfeelings Manifest Your Feelings

Most of us have experienced moments, maybe even life times of attempting to control the future.  This might happen when we want something so badly, we view it as the only acceptable outcome.  The irony of this is, when we only allow one option, we close the door to possible better options. Often times fear creeps in and our brain will begin to tell us why we may or may not, achieve our perceived only option.  At this point the focus becomes on why it might not happen, versus  why it will happen.

Is it possible to just relax and really let the future unfold? Yes;  but there are several important pieces to consider when allowing your life to open up magically.  If you have specific goals; ask yourself why this and not something different? Make sure they are your dreams, not someone else’s.  The next piece to consider is, how will you feel when you achieve your goal?

Feelings are the most important piece in creating our future and enjoying the now.  Imagine and connect to the feelings you love.  Make them a part of your everyday life.  Let each breath hold a connection to your favorite feelings and dreams.  Each time you experience a feeling it can build and continue to grow until it fully becomes who you are.

Where is God When Disaster Strikes?

cloudspollyWhere is God When Disaster Strikes? Where is God When Disaster Strikes?

This is such a great question. If our faith is ever going to waiver, it will be when we see or experience, painfully scary and seemingly unnecessary events. Today we have plenty of examples to choose from. My answer; God is always with you and within you.

Without spending too much time on the concept of going within to connect with God; that is where you will find eternal peace.  Practice meditation and prayer.  Spend time in silence.  You will begin to experience the world differently, kinder.  You will begin to identify miracles of the smallest nature that lead you to experiencing life in a kinder and more simple world.  Simple because you become the great observer, and recognize everything as both miraculous and anticipated.

Our external world matches our internal world.  When we experience inner peace; we see glimpses of God in everything we pause to study.

How to Tap into the Strength of Your Truth

strengthofyourtruth How to Tap into the Strength of Your Truth

My writing has been described as lyrical or even whimsical.  I know my words as truth; they carry an awareness of a kinder and compassionate world.

We are living in a time that allows our actions and reactions to be far reaching into our world.  Humanity has documented challenges and successes of our planet throughout the ages.  Our ability to be aware of current situations across the oceans has gifted us a unique knowledge and challenge. The media is sharing terrifying footage of fires, wars, and other devastating events that are portrayed as out of control.  It might appear like humanity is being brought to our collective knees….

I choose to look at this moment in history as an opportunity to gain a higher perspective of our options.  We can unite, bring light, and vibrancy to the areas where fear has trapped us.  To achieve this, we need to look deeper into every image.  For example, we see animals fleeing the fires in Australia.  This has triggered emotions for many of us.  Seeing the animals loosing lives to an out of control fire stirs up grief, fear and sadness.

Our New Year is Illuminating Awareness, Partnerships & Discipline

holidaypause Our New Year is Illuminating Awareness, Partnerships & Discipline

The pause just after Christmas and Hanukkah holds a powerful occurrence.  The work schedule is not quite back to normal.  A lull in expectations can be felt.  This temporary interruption in our daily lives offers us the perfect time to create goals for the new year.  This is a truly spectacular opportunity.  We get to decide what we want in 2020.  This season we are creating not only a new year, but a new decade!

Imagine the Universe is preparing to give birth to a new year that has yet to be touched by our experiences.  The emergent year remains intact and waiting for our concept of time to crack open the shell that contains our collective thoughts.  Soon we begin to feel the experiences we have been searching for.  Like most births there is a mixture of anticipation, a little fear of the unknown and possibly an awareness of the responsibility to do the right thing.  There are moments of pain that will be forgotten and overwhelming experiences of heart opening love.  Together we will welcome the birth of a new year and a beautiful new decade.

When looking back, the year 2012 was thought to bring a powerful new consciousness shift to Earth.  Many believed it was the beginning of changes that could help humanity evolve.   Some were expecting to see proof of a cosmos that contains miracles, truth, and the answers mystics speak of.

Like 2012 the year 2020 is set to unleash a great wave of evolution for Earth and it’s inhabitants. What begins in 2020 will gain strength through the decade.

How to Create a Life Changing Mantra

How to Create a Life Changing Mantra How to Create a Life Changing Mantra

Mantras are honored in a vast variety of spiritual practices and traditions, through many centuries. They elevate daily lives, and have an important place in both mindful and intentional living. Mantras are also one of the main ingredients in successful manifestation. They can be words, sounds or even repetitive actions.

Many people experience life without recognizing their personal power.  The words and thoughts we repeatedly tell ourselves are basically mantras that are void of sacred energy and intent. I invite you to take charge of your life by using intentional mantras. Follow these simple steps and get ready to celebrate your dreams:

Doorways

Doorways Doorways

Everything in our life is here, because at some point, we walked thru a doorway and summoned  the experience.  I will share an example of this; outside my window there are rabbits and an occasional red cardinal eating pieces of lettuce and carrots.  Earlier in the day I put the produce out knowing it would attract some animals.  My thoughts and actions created the enjoyable encounter.  I also credit thoughts and behavior for the not so sweet manifestations.

What ever shows up in our life, we play a significant role in how and why it has appeared.   Our mind creates the door frame and our response leads us through the passage that holds our experiences.  The power of our mind is responsible for building everything physical and non physical on our journey.   Imagination holds the potential for everything.

Sitting with God

sittingwithgod Sitting with God

I don’t believe luck randomly offers people a place in our life.  There is a deeper connection involved when a moment, lesson or even message needs to be shared.  There is a supreme force of power, love and light that brings us together.  We join this energy of infinite possibilities on a journey that brings light and love to the surface.

This morning, after hiking I created an office space outside.  The sun had warmed the Earth a perfect temperature.  The birds were singing and some of my favorite music was playing.   It was one of those moments that reminded me of how perfect life can be.  My intent was to catch up on emails and begin my blog.  My heart was wide open.

I was thinking about yesterday, an artist confided in me how her art reveals secrets of what is going on in her life.  Each peace shares a connection to what her heart is experiencing at the time of creation.  In the past decade she experienced a divorce, followed by a diagnosis of a serious health threat.  She also had children to raise. It was this powerful need for strength and purpose that brought healing and passion into her art. Finally she is ready to release some of the pieces created in her darkest time.  They have served their purpose.  The healing is complete.  She is now painting over the original art, and sharing a different story for people to connect with.

Love Shared Thru Art

polly-art-thru-1024x520 Love Shared Thru Art

A few months ago, when I traveled from Alaska to Arizona I loaded into my car what I wanted for my new living and creative space. It wasn’t much; some clothes, a few pieces of art and some family pictures.  I also grabbed a couple of old race photos. I chose what inspired me or reminded me of our life with younger children. I knew the house, we would eventually decorate in Arizona, had a much different vibration than the house in Alaska.  The majority of what filled our walls in Anchorage would remain in Alaska.

A very large tapestry had been hanging near the back entrance to my husband’s office space.  It was placed where only those that entered thru a private door, might have a moment to notice it’s uniqueness.  This piece is about six feet tall and three feet wide. It was hand woven with brilliant hues of purples, golds, browns, greens, blues and reds. A sheep, winged animal and goat is the collective theme. These creatures were created by wide strands of yarn beautifully woven together. It reminds me of a far away place, from long ago.  It felt almost too big for the wall. Over time I noticed something magical hiding in this art. When the time was right, it would come to life.

As we began to plan our move, we discussed what might work in Arizona.  This particular piece had been grabbing my attention. I often paused by the door, admiring the colors and shapes.  Sometimes I could feel the pull of ancient wisdom, love and even healing touching my heart. I could even feel smoky fires from a very long time ago. With my husband’s blessing the woven art was taken down and slowly, over land and sea made the journey to a new home.

Ringo and a Lesson in Grief

ringo-4 Ringo

I was raised with cows, horses, goats, dogs and a couple other species of animals.  These creatures and our very large garden, taught me at a young age, about the time and energy involved in animal and garden care.  I love plants, but choose to not commit the time to growing them.  For many years that’s how I viewed animals.  I love animals. I even eat a plant based diet because of my spiritual beliefs that acknowledges the sanctity of animals.  Still I didn’t have the time needed to properly care for an animal.

When my children were no longer babies I finally decided I had the energy and resources required to care for a family dog.  This is after years of our oldest child asking for a puppy.

My husband was shocked when my stance of no, no, never..  changed to, “ lets get a poodle.”

That is how Ringo came into our lives.  We bought him from someone out of state.  She claimed her poodles had service dog dispositions.  Ringo was born in December and he came to us in April.  We picked him up at the airport in the evening.  When we opened the crate he was all legs.  He looked more like a young horse then a dog.  He quickly became part of our life.  For the first few years our oldest was the person that slept with and helped care for him.

Have you ever felt a stirring inside for something more in your life?  Many of us look at life with a view that holds some ups, some downs and lots of in between.  The highs are filled with satisfaction and success. You easily connect to these high vibration experiences.  The lows might be filled with frustration, grief or sadness; but again it has your attention. It’s the in-between when your mind begins to touch the unsettled.  This gets people craving a little more zest, love and maybe adventure. The channel between the highs and lows can stir unanswered emotions and feelings. Eventually thoughts begin to bubble up.  These feelings and emotions are a call for action. If the call is acted on, you often find your life purpose. If the emotions are ignored, you might feel unsure of your life. Possibly you feel stuck, until you  get the courage to sort out this energy.

These unanswered emotions and thoughts often hint at your life path that has yet to be  discovered. This is an opportunity to create a life where you experience love in all areas of your life. You freely give and receive love.  Life becomes a steady flow of connection to all.

Breaking into Pieces

breakingintopieces Breaking into Pieces

Many years ago a family member offered one of my daughters a shiny new helium balloon.  She was very excited.  We were outside on an overcast and windy day. I attempted to help her hold on to it, thinking it might fly away.  She was an independent three year old that wanted to do it alone.  The balloon was loosely attached by a clip to her dress.    Eventually the clip failed and the  balloon  slipped from her grasp.  We all watched the balloon float farther and farther away.  My little girl fell apart into a inconsolable storm of pain, loss and anger.  I knew it wasn’t just the loss of the balloon.  We had just moved to Alaska from the East coast with out her father.  The balloon was another thing removed from her small world.  I will never forget her pain.  I will never forget feeling so lost and helpless as a parent.  It seemed like I could not ease her heartbreak.

Most adults have experienced the same overwhelming emotions and sense of loss my child did at three; just for very different things. Often we experience our losses with extraordinary anger, pain and grief; because it is tied to something else.  Regardless of our age, we can loose control in the surface wave of emotions, that pull us back into thick muddied waters holding  past events.

The Bench

the-bench The Bench

The path next to our home opens up to unlimited hiking, biking and horse riding trails.  It also leads the way to a stone bench that is situated on a saddle between two peaks.  I have fallen in love with both the trail and the mystical meeting place. It is here that I connect with family, friends, spirits and always Mother Earth.  Or maybe, it is here that I stop and really open up.

I leave my house by 8:00 in the morning, this is when the temperatures are only in the high 80’s.  Durning the weekdays I might see a couple people, usually I encounter no one.  Most of the path is a mild climb with dirt and sharp rocks.  It is not until you choose a trail that climbs to one of the peaks, that you get steep terrain.  Even the mountain bikers have to get off and carry their bikes on parts of the technical trail.  Everyone I meet is happy and enjoying the sun and the expansive feeling. Or maybe, my happiness is just being reflected back?

Simplest Form

pinkcactus Simplest Form

One of my favorite places for my morning meditation is the earth right next to our home.  It holds a small cactus garden.  There is a Buddha statue, a variety of cacti and some rocks that look like a stream.  There is also a very soft chime and some prayer flags in the distance.   The early light shifts and offers subtle changes.  The sun slowly rises in the sky.  I see the world of wild bunnies and quail.  Some times all the animals head on the little path, in the same direction, looking like they share a secret destination.  This is my world in the simplest form.

Everything shares a feeling of calm.  To experience the world without  worry, stress and upsets is a skill set we each have.  Peace is something I have learned to value in my life and home. I am sharing with you the blue print for a life of well being.  We are the architect of our world; design what you love.

Living Life in Full Bloom

Blueiris Living Life in Full Bloom

I love finding symbolism in life while honoring practices. Both of these actions have helped me experience peace in times of grief, stress and loneliness.

About 16 years ago my husband and I were trying to complete our family with a third child. My other two pregnancies were moderately smooth, so I was shocked when I suffered a loss. This miscarriage kicked off a couple of very stressful and grief filled years. I remember after one of the three failed pregnancies, sitting on the kitchen floor crying. I felt completely lost, even shattered. I tried to keep it together for our two daughters.

My life became filled with blood tests, doctor’s appointments, hope and stress. It was also during this time that each Fall I would plant some flower bulbs. This is truly out of character. While planting the blue Iris bulbs I found a little symbolism. The bulbs go thru a very long, dark and cold winter and magically in the Spring new life shows up. If you are lucky, that new life will be in full bloom in the early Summer.

Transformation

coyote-1024x746 Transformation

Entering the fenced area that holds our fruit trees; I saw a red colored coyote running. This vision was in my mind’s eye. Moments later, for the first time here, I heard a coyote call from one of the peaks near our new Arizona home. This is one of the pieces that needed to fall into place before I could settle down and write. We have been living in our home almost a week, and I have not done much contact with social media, or writing. The ideas for my blog were simmering. I needed to get settled enough to feel the pull of the words and peace. So taking in a deep breath, with a candle lit, I am diving into my place of wellness.

I have been thinking of my clients that struggle with staying aware of their ability to enjoy life; simply by monitoring their own reactions. From an outside perspective this is an easy observation to make. From the perspective of a person experiencing pain, frustration, or other emotions; it is not so easy.

Other clients are committed to making a deeper connection to their guides, God, Angels, or the Universe. They desire a strong connection to a higher power. This group wants to experience the inspiration, peace and feeling of confidence that comes with this connection. In our world people are seeking proof or hard evidence that God, or a lost loved one is able to be experienced in this realm.

Completing the Circle

heather-shevlin-jomtL-cBB-E-unsplash-1024x768 Completing the Circle

My family is in the final stages of relocating to Arizona from Alaska. We will be in sunny Arizona 10 months of the year, and enjoying Alaska’s cool summers two months of the year. We frequently use air travel into and out of Alaska . This time I wanted to experience a longer journey out, maybe even savor the experience of leaving Alaska. Entering or exiting the 49th state has two unique options during the summer months. We can drive the Alaska highway system into Canada and then into the lower 48 states, or use the ferry system. Both are about 4 or 5 days of continues travel.

A friend graciously accompanied me on the ferry. We drove my car, that was packed full of photographs and other treasures, onto the ferry just before midnight on Monday. Both of us had sleeping bags, food and Dramamine. Our sleeping arrangements included chaise lounges, minus the cushions and sleeping bags. We felt lucky to score two of the lounges. It took us a short amount of time to find where we wanted to camp for 4 and a half days.
