We all have goals and we all have dreams. We all have things we want to get done. Even if they’re just little goals, like I want to get the kitchen cleaned up, or, I want to clean up my closet or I want to build a business, or I want to have the happiest relationship I can, or I want to, I want to raise my children to be just kind loving, being whatever our goals are. We all have them, right?

We all have goals, but a lot of times we sacrifice our goals for something else, something that is seemingly in the way or necessary to focus on right now.

And we do not honor the promises that we have made to ourselves. And so, I thought we would talk a little bit about how to get shit done.

That is what I called it, how to get shit done and how to do it in a place that honors you and the promises you are making to yourselves and can still support others. It just means that you do not sacrifice your dreams and your goals and your wants, for everybody else to be happy.

Let’s talk about loss. I would say the majority of the planet right now is experiencing loss in a variety of different ways, right? Loss of their independence, loss of their jobs, loss of their connection to their families or their friends, loss of their ability to be out in the world, loss of their identity because they’re not working – so now they don’t know who they are, loss of relationships – many people have been challenged to maintain relationships during this time, loss of even some of people’s beliefs – like their faith …  loss all over the place.

If we dig in just a little bit more, I would say that we’re grieving. We’re grieving the losses.

So, we’ve experienced the loss. We felt the loss and now people are having grief, right?

You’re experiencing the grief from the loss and grief shows up in a lot of different ways for different people.

One of those ways is anger. One of those ways is shutting down or disconnecting. One of those ways is to deny it or ignore it or pretend that it doesn’t exist. And, eventually, we come around to acceptance and oftentimes come back full circle into a place of appreciation. But that isn’t always like in a week or in a month even – sometimes it’s in a decade.  I don’t think there has to be a right and wrong amount of time for that process to happen.  But it is important for those things to happen.

    Listen to your body. Your body is always speaking to you. It’s always giving you input. It’s always letting you know what you’re holding back, what you’re not sharing, what you’re pushing down, what you’re suppressing. We don’t always listen to our bodies, but our bodies always know. And if we choose to listen, then our body will tell us what it is that we need to know to take the next step, to make the movement, to have the healing, etc. Believe it or not, your body knows what it needs. It also knows how to heal. You might not have the connection with it yet, but it does carry that information. It knows what needs to be released when there’s no room in the container, so that it can have the healing that it deserves. Sometimes the body is talking because we haven’t been listening much. It’s always talking to us and teaching us. So, Number 1 – Your Body Knows: Listen to your body.

Feeling LONELY and feeling ALONE.

Any of you felt either of those?

The conversation that I wanted to have today is around the difference between being alone and being lonely.

Being alone means that you are solitary. You are by yourself. You are isolated, you are in a solitary space. There are no people around you. 

Being lonely is a feeling of sadness or abandonment or disconnectedness.

Sometimes people use a word that does not really fit what they are trying to describe.

Alone is being by yourself.

Lonely is a feeling that you have.

You can be lonely and be at a big party. You can feel lonely when you are with somebody that you love. My point is that loneliness is the feeling and being alone is the physical-ness of being solitary.

However, you are never actually alone.

We all have angels and we all have guides that are always with us. So, we are never actually alone.

So, if you are struggling with loneliness, that is something that is a feeling versus when you are feeling alone.

And I just want to make sure you understand that distinction.

Today I thought we would talk about how to listen to your body and how to pay attention to what your body is saying. Or maybe the other side of that is … how to know that your body is saying something because you are not paying attention.

Have you had experiences where you know your body is trying to get a point across … and maybe you’re not listening very well, or maybe it just keeps getting just a little bit worse and a little bit worse and a little bit worse?

30 years ago, I read a book that kind of turned my mind around on the separateness between our bodies and our spirits. It was called You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay.  She talked about how all these different physical manifestations meant something on an emotional level … and that you could discover what the emotional level was … and if you worked through those things, then the physical manifestations would be released out of the body.

In these challenging, expanding, painful and hopeful times, what can YOU do?


If you are feeling the fear, the sadness, the pain, not knowing what to do, how to show up, what to say or not say … I hear you.

When I went within and asked Spirit to guide me … when I asked Love what it would say, this is what I received.  This is my message to me … and I thought it might be of service to you too.

Ask yourself this question:  “What Would LOVE Say/Do?”

  1. Be the Change you wish to see – no excuses. Embody it! Whatever that change is, be it.
  2. Look within your own thoughts, mind, and heart. Observe your judgments, fears, and anger. Dig into why and where they came from and do what YOU need to do to release and heal them. Get educated, own your errors, step up and help.
  3. Create Connection, Unity and Oneness. Separation and division are the absence of connection. We as Human Beings are all connected. We are one and we need to stand together and BE ONE! What hurts another, hurts the whole.
  4. Focus on the actions as despicable, unacceptable, and deplorable; not the person. We each must consider our own past behaviors and know that they don’t define who we are today. This is the same for everyone else. Give some grace and know that we, as a human race, can do better.

That is the question that people are asking me?  Well, for most people, they are doing what they’ve always done … and that is why the fear, anger, judgment, and pain just continues to manifest in our lives, in our world.

If nothing changes, nothing changes.

In this time of unprecedented fear, the way we have learned to manage or “deal” with our feelings is obviously not working. We MUST do something different. This is my response to how we do it differently.

I hope you will take a few minutes to look within and listen to what Spirit has to say to you after you watch this short video.

This week I would like to talk about the four-step process to learn to connect with your angels, guardian angels, or your archangels.

I wrote a book a few years back called Invoking the Archangels – A Nine-step Process to Heal Your Body, Mind, and Soul and wrote about how you can connect with the archangels specifically; but you can also use this 4-step process to connect with your angels, guardian angels, and/or your spirit guides.

The reason that I think this process is important to know is because oftentimes we tend to want to have things happen like yesterday: “Show me a sign right now or please come to me and help me with this situation today!!”

Can you relate to that?

We expect that when we say “do it at this time” … that they’re going to follow and do it at this time; whereas, they have a bigger perspective … and their perspective is not restricted to a timeline like ours.

It is not their job to show up in the time that we think they need to.
It is their job to show up when it is in alignment for our highest, greatest good.

The angels are here to nurture you, to guide you, to support you and to protect you. And not just you, but all of humanity. Each of us gets a guardian angel when we come into this physical planet and the guardian angel stays with us our entire life and then leaves with us at the end.
We also get a spirit guide that comes in, stays with us, and then leaves with us.

So, we get a guardian angel and a spirit guide.

Then we have angels and archangels that come to us for different reasons at different times for different purposes.

85% of religions believe in angels in some form. Most people have some sort of a connection with them, whether they have seen them, heard them, felt them, know their presence, or they just truly believe they are there.

Stuffing Emotions! Any of You Do That? Stuffing Emotions! Any of You Do That?

What have you been stuffing? What have you been noticing? How do you stuff your emotions? What does it look like to you?

Are you noticing what your emotions are? Do you know what it is you’re stuffing in the first place? Is it anxiety? Are you feeling overwhelmed? Is it the unknown? Is it pressure? Is it fear? What is the emotion that you are stuffing?

And then how are you stuffing them?

Food and booze?

Do you not express emotions because you cannot take words back?

Yes, you cannot take words back, but what you can do is move that energy out of your body.

You can move the energy out of your body.

You have a right to the way you feel. I’m not saying you should hold onto those feelings and let them take you down, but I’m saying that you have a right to how you feel and you have a right to express how you feel. BUT it may not be that you need to express it to the people you think you need to express it to.

Because what you need to express is about how YOU feel. It’s not about somebody else.

I was asking Spirit what topic I should write about and I heard: “Talk about the one you’re in” and I smiled. So … I am writing about SURRENDER!  I recently spent the entire morning working on surrender as I rescheduled our trip to Peru. It is such a bummer, and at the same time totally necessary right now.

The day before, around 6:30pm, I got a call from my travel guru who said, “We must decide on Peru – in like 36 hours. Everybody who has signed up for the trip has to make a decision, not just us.” My heart sunk as I realized we would have to contact over 35 people and get an answer within the next 36 hours.  We had been asking for information for three weeks as to what we could do and what the options were … and they were not great. And of course, we all want to go.

The trip to Peru was scheduled for late June, which of course seems so far away; but the reality of it is, as far as international flights go, we could not wait any longer.  So, we had to make the decision very, very quickly to reschedule what dates we could reschedule during a time when the travel industry in general is closed. Hotels are closed, employees are on furlough … so the connections were sparse.

It has been really challenging. And I know this travel situation is not something that is new. It is happening for everyone. So, I am not complaining about it. To try to reschedule things and work on all this stuff without being able to get contacts, emails, responses, and communication within a foreign country was not an easy thing. So, that morning, I surrendered.

In my heart I knew everyone was going to be disappointed, but at the same time I held onto the thought that we still get to go. We just bump it out a year. That was the first surrender. It was certainly a challenge for me and my sense of responsibility because it is my group. I am taking 31 people to Peru. It is my responsibility, my risk, my people. They are MY responsibility. And at the same time, my hands were tied in a lot of ways and I did not have control. I’m not able to just snap my fingers and change it or figure it out or force it. Like there is nothing in my ability to do besides surrender. And so that is why I thought this would be a great topic to write about … because that’s how I started.

I had to sit in the energy of surrender … versus what is the other option?

Just give up?

Just quit?

Cancel everything and just shut down and go hide away and hide under the blankets and be depressed?

That is an option as well.

BUT it is not an option for me.

So, I surrender.

I wonder how you are doing with listening to your body while in quarantine and moving through this experience?

Our body is such a miraculous container. It can create miracles in so many profound ways.

And I know that the physical body is getting a lot of attention right now and not all of it is positive.

How are you feeling in your body? How well are you listening to your body? How is your body working for you and how are you working with your body?

Those are some of the questions I would like you to sit with.

It is so important right now to be listening to the messages and the signs and the symptoms that your body is showing you. Your body gives you messages to let you know whether you are in alignment with your thoughts or emotions … or if you’re disconnected and not present.

YOUR body gives YOU insight into everything: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

I want to talk about money, money, money, money, money, money.

I know it’s kind of a risky topic to talk about when we’re in the middle of a pandemic.

But you know me, I like to be on the risky end.

I think it is a conversation we need to have right now.

We cannot be in fear. Or I should say we cannot STAY in fear.

So…let’s talk about fear and start with the Law of Attraction.

Whatever you put your attention on gets bigger. For example, if you put your attention on your fears around your family being sick, then that worry, and fear grows inside of YOU.

If you put your attention on the fear around money, then it makes the fear bigger in you. And when it gets bigger in you, it attracts more of the like.

There are lots and lots of things that are happening right now in your present-day experience that have not ever happened.

People are juggling many areas of their lives and doing the best they can with what they know.

There is so much fear right now. Can you feel it?

A lot of people are struggling right now; struggling with the fear of the virus, the fear of getting infected, fear of losing someone close to them, the fear of contaminating others. But beyond the virus itself there is also the fear of isolation, the fear of loss of income or loss of a job, the inability to take care of your family, and the great fear of what the future now looks like. 

So how is this fear affecting us?


It is infiltrating our systems. The level of fear is so high right now it has become toxic to our way of thinking, our actions, our words, and our energy.

Don’t get me wrong, I am not negating that we have to be safe and take the necessary precautions, especially those of us with a weak immune system. Caution is SO IMPORTANT right now in dealing with conflicts in front of us.  But when precautions come from fear instead of self-care, it activates chaos which in turn spreads and grows. 

Through all of this, my  spirit has strongly guided me to say something to you as we are all facing circumstances that we’ve never faced in our lifetime. I feel called to speak on the tools we all possess to overcome the fear that’s weighing heavily within us and around us.

Yup, it is that time again! By now, you have probably heard someone say … “Oh, It’s Mercury retrograde”.

Mercury Retrograde is about to begin and many people are beginning to “feel” the energy shifts … possibly without even knowing it … as it moves in. Now, I’m not an expert in Mercury Retrograde … nor am I an astrologer. I’m a psychic medium and someone who is sensitive to energy … just like you. I notice when the energy shifts … especially the strong shifts. As I tune into the energy (and look at the calendar) I usually discover that Mercury is retrograde … and I take a breath, look up how long it will be in retrograde … and then plan to move forward at a slower pace … knowing that it always has something to teach me. Not that I always love this … but, I can either hit my head against the wall, pushing and forcing OR go with the flow of Mercury in retrograde … and embrace its teachings. Which do you choose?

What is the difference? This is something I have thought about many times … is there a difference between gratitude and appreciation and, if so, what is it?

It has been something that has always stuck with me … this feeling that they are so similar, yet different. As I tuned in and asked Spirit for guidance, I understood what the difference was for me. I FEEL appreciation more than I do gratitude. I am sure, because I am clairsentient (a feeler), that it makes it different for me than for someone who is Clairvoyant (a seer) or Clairaudient (a hearer). I always knew appreciation “felt” different … deeper to me, but I wasn’t sure why.

1).  Is there a life review after we have passed on? 

Yes, there is a life review. It is like as they go through their life review, they are witnessing everything that ever happened in their life… every feeling, every emotion, every experience. It is as if it is played out on a movie screen. I’ve been told that it’s like you have a remote and you can fast forward and rewind through different parts of it afterwards. You can also see the way things might have turned out had you gone down a different road, or made a different choice. It is my understanding that one road isn’t better than another. They generally all wind up going to the same place. It is really just more about the experience and the expansion of the person. As you go through this life review, there is no judge and jury. There is no one to condemn you. It is an opportunity to study the life you lived, and learn and grow from it with a new and different perspective. Because you are now in Spirit, you can see from a higher vibration and can see what each experience was truly about.

I found a senses of freedom in blaming someone else… for my bad day or bad mood, my ruined event or experience… It was “easier” to blame someone for the seemingly bad things in my life…

What do you do when you can’t seem to find your voice but you gotta get it out?

One of my favorite ways to move energy when I feel stuck is to write and burn. It’s not like you just write and burn and it’s done… it truly is a healing process. You may have heard of Julia Cameron’s “Morning Pages” ritual that invites you to journal stream of consciousness thoughts for ten minutes each morning. It’s a great way to get the funk and the junk out of your subconscious so you are more capable of being creative, intentional and free. Write and Burn, is similar, but different. It invites you to get honest with the feelings that don’t feel good … so honest that you are willing to move them out of your head and heart and onto paper. It is an extremely powerful process that I have been doing for years. I find it so helpful that I suggest it to about 90% of my clients at one time or another.

Writing to heal is scientifically proven. I knew I always felt better after I had written in my journal, especially the painful yucky stuff, but I didn’t know there was “real” science that backed up what I felt. Not until I read an article about James W. Pennebaker, a psychology professor. He became deeply interested in the physical and mental benefits of what he called self-disclosure and created an experiment to test out his theory. He gathered a group of students who were asked to write about their own traumatic experiences for 20 minutes, on three consecutive days. Serving as a control group were an equal number of students asked to write about unimportant matters.

The results showed that there was a marked difference between the two groups in terms of the impact of the writing exercise. In those who had written of trivial matters, there was no change either in their physical or mental health. In contrast, those who had written about traumatic experiences showed a marked strengthening of their immune system, decreased visits to the doctor and significant increases in psychological well-being. These findings were measured using physiological markers, behavioral markers and self-reporting. In another study in the 1990s of people with AIDS, those who wrote about their diagnosis and how it had affected their lives experienced a beneficial increase in white blood cell counts and a drop in their viral loads.

Writing & Burning is a safe place for you to release. It’s a place for you to get honest with yourself and your pain. A place for you to allow yourself complete freedom to write whatever you want. No one else but you will ever see it, so swear and curse if you feel the need and write down everything that you feel about the person or the situation that is affecting you. Write about why you feel the way you do … even if it doesn’t make sense.
