How to Use Meditation to Develop Your Intuition

In order to be successful, you must develop your intuition.

Everyone has intuition, and everyone has experienced intuition at one time or another. The trick is to learn how to tap into your intuition at will to achieve greater levels of success.

Many successful people not only have developed their intuition, but they trust their gut and follow their inner guidance.

You, too, can use your intuition to make more money, make better decisions, solve problems more quickly, unleash your creative genius, discern people's hidden motives, and create winning business plans and strategies.

Because developing your intuition is so important, there are many techniques that you can use to develop it. One of the most important ways to develop your intuition is through meditation.

A Simple Meditation Technique to Get You Started

First, if you haven’t learned how to meditate, this is a simple meditation that I teach beginners. By learning this 4 step technique you can begin to quiet your mind and tap into your intuition. Remember that there is no wrong way to meditate and that is


Sit palms together, visualize light up left side and down right side of body 3 times.

Repeat a word, phrase, or mantra for close to 10 minutes.

Palms facing up on lap. Be an observer: watch your thoughts. feelings and sensations.

Close your palms and visualize white light surrounding your body. At the end, visualize yourself accomplishing a goal or being totally healthy or healed.


The next time you meditate use these 4 techniques to help develop your intuition:

1) Let Go of Past Programming

If your subconscious beliefs conflict with the outcomes you're consciously affirming, you're guaranteed to fail. The subconscious wins ... every time.


Use meditation to break the old loop of negative self-talk and create new pathways of constant, positive self-talk. You can do this through creating new, positive affirmations for yourself while meditating.

2) Visualize What You Want

Your subconscious can't tell the difference between a real and imagined event. When it "sees" what you want to achieve, it will find ways to make your dreams come true.


You can “visualize” in different ways, not just “visually” in 3D. Many of us won’t really see an image, but get a sense of it or hear intuitive voices. These are all equally successful ways to achieve results, so appreciate your natural way of visualizing.

3) Tune into Your Extraordinary Guidance

Meditation provides the stillness you need to hear the quiet voice of your intuition, which will guide you to wiser choices.


Any experience that slows your thoughts will work as meditation. When you meditate, you don’t need to eliminate thoughts, rather allow the pace of thinking to slow. This will allow you to tune into your inner guidance in the stillness you’ve achieved.

4) Meditate on Your Deepest Desires

As you focus on your deepest most heartfelt desires, solutions will come pouring into your mind -- clear thoughts and images of the steps you can take, the people you need to talk to, and ways to transcend any obstacles you might encounter. It can be truly magical.


Meditation and visualization has been invaluable for tuning into my inner guidance and programming my mind for success. I hope that, through a little bit of practice, it will help guide you as well.
