How To Manifest The Change That You Really Want

In my weekly Oracle Card reading, in which I explain some of the really dynamic myths and messages from the Goddess, I also highlight a common theme that we are all experiencing. We are all in a rebirth period right now. This is an amazing time right now of change and evolution. Yet, as we pass through the different stages of change, there can often be a time of contraction where the change gets uncomfortable.

When we endeavor to make changes we have the excitement and energy of new intentions driving us. Yet, when we bump up against detours and challenges, and the intentions that we set to manifest do not come to fruition exactly as we thought they would, it can be disheartening.

Have you ever set an intention to manifest something, then felt discouraged when it didn’t show up the way you’d hoped?

Magic Happens When The Self Aligns With the Soul

magichappens Magic Happens When The Self Aligns With the Soul

Dearest You,

I wonder if you know what your soul needs, and is that different than what your small self wants? Are they ever the same? Can they be? The answer is yes and when they align you’re in the magical miracle zone!

As I went over my 2019 list of what I intended to manifest in my life, I asked myself this question. Are my intentions in alignment with my soul? For a long time now I have known that if I only focus on my wants and desires without giving equal space for the needs of my soul I find that my manifestations will not be satisfying. There is a big difference between inspired intentions and wanting something to happen.

Gratitude for a Happy New Year – Ask these 10 Questions to Manifest Your Best 2019

celebrate2019 Gratitude for a Happy New Year – Ask these 10 Questions to Manifest Your Best 2019

Dearest you,

Tis the grand finale of 2018 this week and I’m curious about something. How do you say goodbye to the year past and welcome in the new year? What kind of rituals do you practice if any?

In past years I would spend a few days creating a vision board looking forward to the year ahead, setting my intentions, affirmations, cutting out pictures from magazines claiming the images that aligned with the feelings I wanted to emulate in the events of my life. The truth is I spent a whole lot of time focused on the outcome of my desires and little time on what had already transpired.

I had come to notice that without a closure, an inventory of my evolution and growth for the previous year I find that I’d be still somewhat motivated by a sense of “ more” or “ not enough”.

Has that happened to you?

What Is Yours Will Not Go Past You

What Is Yours Will Not Go Past You What Is Yours Will Not Go Past You

I remember the first time I heard this statement 30 years ago, and, (as a newly minted magical thinking new ager) I took it to mean that I would “easily and effortlessly” manifest what I want. After all, if I desire something should I not be able to manifest it?

“What is truly yours will not be withheld from you”, and “If you can imagine it you can create it”, became two statements that have challenged me over the years to dive deep and find the courage to face what I didn’t want to face.

The fact is that life will not always give me exactly what I want in the form I insist upon, and that chasing anything to make it so will not yield the fruits of either statement no matter how much I try to manipulate it.

If something eludes you, chasing it will only lead to heartache, or boredom.

Does hope actually have a useful role in new-thought living?

Durga-Hope

One of my first reference tools for the study of consciousness and manifestation was the book The Game of Life and How to Play It; by Florence Scovel Shinn. She did most of her metaphysical writing in the early 1900's.

In regards to the concept of hope, she felt that it carried too much of the element of uncertainty and doubt. She used the example of a hope chest. Back in her day women would get a hope chest and gather different items to prepare for her future marriage.

Shinn felt that if a person only had hope for a future event or desired reality that it may be lacking the conviction and determination one would need to actually create change.

Hope may hold to much wiggle-room for failure.
