Give Purple Peace a Chance!

Peace

When we think of the symbol of PEACE, many of us are transported back to the 60-70’s, the era of hippies, flower power, and free love. We feel a sense of freedom, fun, and unlimited possibilities.

Peace is a gentle reminder of the TRANQUILITY that we can slip into any time we need to refresh and renew. It reminds us of the importance of SILENCE and going within to connect with our higher self. It reminds us that TRUCE is always possible when we see experiences from all perspectives. By tuning into peace daily, we discover that GOODWILL is always an option to share at any time, in any experience.

So, get your bell-bottoms on, adorn your hair in flowers, listen to John Lennon, and let’s “Give Peace a Chance!”

Oracle Card Spreads For Love And Relationships!

loveandrelationships

One of the most common areas people seek guidance from the Oracle is regarding love and romantic relationships. And no wonder! The sacred mysteries of love invite us into an exploration of what it means to be a spiritual being in a physical body. It is one of the ways we are able to fully experience our humanity. It can make us feel vulnerable and empowered, ecstatic and despairing. And of course, any topic that is so full of strong emotions will be one we want to know more about!

Your Divine Path to Love

For many people, the mere mention of romantic love makes them roll their eyes and reach for the nearest pint of ice cream. They’ve been there, done that, and have the battle scars to prove it. After a few times of showing the soft underbelly of your inner self to another, only to have them mishandle your heart. Ouch!

Stressed About Your Future? Let Go of Certainty and Control

pensive-lonely-young-woman-sitting-on-beach-hugging-her-knees-and-picture-id664047240 Stressed About Your Future? Let Go of Certainty and Control

Like everyone these days I can fall prey to the stress goblins. I typically am pretty chill but during the recent US elections (since I was just in the states) I really got infected by the fear and anxiety about ‘WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN?” Oh I know, I’m supposed to have the conscious Universe on speed dial but I fall asleep at the wheel in stressful moments too. Yep, I teach what I need to be reminded of.

How do you react when you’re in the midst of uncertainty and not knowing what’s going to happen next? Do you try to plan, scheme, strategize, and control, all the while driving yourself crazy? Or, do you do what you need to do and then let go the results and cultivate faith in the Divine, faith in the uncharted map yet to be discovered?

Tarot Cards vs Oracle Cards

photo-of-tarot-card-picture-id955674858 Tarot Cards vs Oracle Cards

When I was 17 years old I got my very first personal oracle in the form of a tarot deck. It was the Rider Waite Tarot and it changed my life forever. Then shortly after I was introduced to other divination systems, like Norse Runes and the I-Ching, and others that lit me up like a candle! Little did I know then that teaching about divination tools, and oracles as a means of self-understanding and communicating with the Divine would become the main focus of my work. Curiosity led to transformation and now here we are.

Over the years, even before I began, my now 30 years long career working as an intuitive and Oracle creator, I used the tarot daily and collected tarot decks (at one point I had 62 of ‘em) and got to know how to work with the tarot intimately. I taught workshops on working with the tarot, then eventually went on to create a different form of Oracle – these are called oracle cards.

There is a difference between the tarot cards vs oracle cards as well as similarities. I’m going to get you in the know now, so if anyone asks you’ll have the answer!

Create Mindfulness with Oracle Cards

morningpractice Create Mindfulness with Oracle Cards

In 1990 I was introduced to a book and author that was to change my life. The book was (and is) called Full Catastrophe Living and Jon Kabat Zinn Ph.D. the founder of MBSR,  Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction probably was the single most powerful teacher I had that helped me cope with the back to back deaths of my parents.

I was four years sober and nutty as a fruitcake as I had no real understanding of my empathy overload, or what to do with my constant anxiety, especially because I had begun doing professional work as an intuitive and had no clue as to how I was receiving such intimate information. Looking back I see myself on electricity overload all lit up like a Christmas tree.

When plans go Awry? (Ditch the plans!)

WHEN PLANS GO AWRY? (DITCH THE PLANS!)

This week has been so rich with ups and downs I must have meditated at least 3 times daily just to keep myself sane. My oracle cards were also on point so nothing really came as a surprise when Chaos and Conflict, Not For You, was followed by more of the same. I think I chose the card with the saying “ not my circus, not my monkeys” four times over 5 days.
