Given that I almost died from cancer, I have had several attribute my survival to some deep wherewithal within me that crisis awakened. But humbly, I must clarify the resilience that helped save my life was not just some reservoir within me. It did not come from me alone. But through facing what was mine to face, I was given access to much more than me. I think this is the paradox about resilience.

A frequently asked question by most of my clients is " Why am I stressing, my life seems so good to everyone else but myself". We need to understand that stress is a part of everyone's life, one way or the other.and beating stress seems to be one of our major daily concerns in order to lead a normal, healthy and happy life.

Having resilience towards stress is actually our best bet in life. In some of us, resilience is an inborn quality and yet some of us need to stretch the extra yard in order to cultivate it. Once we realize that we need to cultivate resilience, we need to make a conscious effort to do so.

Since we realize that we need to cultivate resilience, I will give you a few guidelines on how to develop this quality so that you step onto a stress-free zone most of the time and maintain a level of calm and balance in order to lead a life at the level of your ultimate potential.
