Turn the Tables on the Thieves of Peace

Turn the Tables on the Thieves of Peace

Have you ever been in the midst of that very personal sense of peace called, "sitting in front of the TV with a nice pizza"? Then the phone rings, or a neighbor drops by, and . . . boom! Your slice of heaven is replaced with simmering resentment toward the person or event seen as disturbing it.

How Powerful Are Your Thoughts?

John Holland on Powerful Thoughts

Do you have any idea how powerful your thoughts are? You’re probably very familiar with the adages: “Your thoughts create your reality” or “You can attract anything you want in your life.” But do you really believe them?

You’re a magnetic energy being, right? So, every thought you have has its own unique energy signature. When you have a conscious thought, it’s immediately lodged in your magnetic field, known as your aura. And when that thought remains in this field for any length of time, more often than not it radiates out to be absorbed into the Universe.

3 Ways to Shift Your Paradigm and Manifest Your Dreams

marym12.27

We all have “paradigms” that we’ve carried throughout our entire lives. These collections of thoughts and beliefs make up our understanding of “normal” and define our limitations.

They also draw the line in the sand between the life we know and the life we would love. Some paradigms whisper in our ear all the reasons why we can’t, won’t, and shouldn’t cross it.

Most of the time, we listen. After all, they make sense in our current awareness, where circumstances, situations, and conditions demand all of our attention.

But if you would love to bring your desires to life, you won’t get there with the same thinking that got you to where you are today!

Harness the Subconscious Mind to Create a Desired Reality

reneee9.7.21

We very often hear a voice telling us that life is a miracle. We keep wondering in our own minds how is that statement true, is it actually a reality we need to embrace.

I would like to say that our every thought is a miracle maker. It is our own subconscious mind that is the creator of our reality. The action is actually happening in our thoughts and the reaction is in our response,  which is actually a response to our subconscious mind. So it is important to think wisely,  and think in terms of the reality we desire to manifest. As our mind will through our subconscious mind create a reality, closest to the mental pattern we are feeding deep within the subconscious mind.

KNOW WHAT YOU WANT

The most important factor in life is knowing what you want. Our subconscious mind has a storage which is full of desires and wants according to our conscious mind perception, imagination and feelings. It is the conviction of the conscious mind  which is transferred onto the subconscious self.  This converts the idea into a reality.

USE IMAGINATION
Use your imagination as a perceived reality, visualize a state of freedom. Try finding ways of solving a problem, and impose that way on your subconscious. The subconscious will respond to the thought.

CHILDLIKE FAITH
Put away your problem solving skills. Just have a belief that whatever you desire will happen. Believe in miracles. Simple thought attracts instant and pure reaction.

DISCIPLINED IMAGINATION
As it is said in the bible "Whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive" To believe is to accept something as true. Imagination is the most powerful faculty you are gifted with, you are absolutely whatsoever you imagine yourself to be.

INNER GUIDANCE
This is an inner sense of touch. You know when it is a hunch. Trust these vibes, they will prove to you that they are correct.

BE SURE OF YOURSELF
Doubts and hesitations weaken prayers.  Statements such as "I hope it works" or "I wish I get this" will set a negative tone. We attract vibrations on the frequency of our thoughts, a doubting thought creates a lower frequency.

LIVE IN COMPLETE CONVICTION
Pass the idea you want created to your subconscious mind from the conscious mind. Give yourself over to its power, then relax with the idea. Through the action and conviction, you will actually impregnate your subconscious mind. This helps kinetic energy to take over and bring it to realization in concrete form.

Be careful of your thoughts. When desire and imagination  are in conflict, then imagination wins over and produces negative results for you. If you suggest to your mind "I will use my will power to overcome failure," you are actually reinforcing the negative idea. Thinking continuously over the thought could dominate the subconscious, then when you try to alter it in your conscious, it overpowers  the conscious mind, the negative persists and you are not allowed by your mind, to create the desired reality.

HARMONIOUS UNION
Your prayers are answered when there is no conflict. We cannot imagine opposition. Believe only in the power of creation, you can create what you want by focusing on it completely. By using mental will power you pre-suppose opposition and therefore create it.

Imagine the reality of fulfilled desire and feel the thrill of accomplishment.

SLEEPTIME VALUE
This is the best time to penetrate your thoughts into mental space. There is heightened awareness while sleeping and negative thoughts and imagery neutralize your desire.
When you neutralize and imagine the thrill of the accomplishment,  the subconscious brings the realization of desire.
Use affirmations to harness the subconscious mind to create a desired reality.

Meditation For Reducing Stress And Finding Spiritual Guidance

Creid8.9.21

I’m still riding the high vibes from an incredible weekend at OraclePalooza Virtual! Every year when we ask participants what they loved most about the event, we get a resounding response of, “The Guided Meditations!”

Meditation is truly one of the greatest tools that we as humans have available to us for regulating our thoughts and emotions, reducing stress, and finding a sense of peace and groundedness.

When you begin to meditate regularly, you’ll find that a feeling of groundedness comes more easily to you.

Instead of being pulled and thrown by every little thing that happens around you, you’ll discover your ability to stay in your center – no matter what is going on around you, returning without as much effort to that center if you find yourself “tossed around”. This is what it feels like to be spiritually grounded.

I think of this like learning to live in the eye of the storm. Everything can be in chaos and upheaval, but you are connected to a place of inner stillness and calm. Your inner state is no longer dependent on the things happening outside of you. (We’ll explore this concept more in my free workshop next week! Click here to learn more and to get free access.)

Meditation gives us flexibility and resilience to meet life’s ups and downs

There’s a common myth that the goal in life is to reach a place of balance.

How to Use the Monkey Mind to Build Circuits

meditation

Have you tried to meditate to calm the mind and instead, felt even more frustrated as thoughts whirled round and round…the desired stillness not even a glimmer on the distant horizon?

Maybe you’ve never meditated or even desired to meditate, but are interested in the idea of stilling the mind.

When we are not identified as the thinking mind, we experience less pain. I am committed to providing sacred space for everyone to discover the distinctions between their true Essential Self and the false self—the thinking mind—that often runs our lives.

When we get caught in life’s circumstances and it feels challenging to access that subtle frequency, that still, sacred space, the question often arises, “How do I get not identified as the mind?”

Whether through guided meditations, The Energy Codes® coursework, or BodyAwake® Yoga, when we dial into and experience the subtle frequency in and around our physical body, the thickness of the space around us becomes palpable. This is sacred space. It’s the more of who you are.

Learn to Go Quiet

quiet-the-mind

We can learn to go quiet in the middle of what would ordinarily be a psychological riot going on within us. The frantic search for any answer – being suddenly caught up in a stream of thoughts and feelings trying to figure out what to do with some frustration – turning to those frantic answers, looking for them, is like turning on a fan and hoping to straighten out the papers on your desk.

We mustn’t be afraid to Go Quiet in those moments. In much the same way as we look out and see something beautiful, we can look interiorly and see that inside of us there is a scramble going on for some kind of security, and to know in that moment that it is not who we really are that’s afraid of what’s going on.

Here’s something that’s stunning. I remember the first time I heard it and what it did to me, and how my mind actually went quiet when I heard it. Listen to this idea.

How to Stop Empowering Your Limitations

authenicyou-blog

You have empowered your limitations. You feel a feeling and you make it mean something about you. Typically, you’re making it mean that you are not loveable, that you’re not doing it right, or you’re not good enough. And, you use it to disqualify and invalidate you.

It’s the same thing with the mind. You think a thought and all of a sudden you are off to the races! Limiting thoughts like “this meditation thing isn’t working . . . I’m still thinking thoughts”.  And if that doesn’t work, you begin to use stuff that is happening at the level of the body or you reach for something that is happening in the world.

What do you think would happen if for just one day, you could make everything mean that you are divine and allow yourself to make feelings and emotions mean that you are loved? What would happen if you made thinking thoughts mean that you are divine and you are loved? And, what would happen if you made feeling feelings, on a sensory level, or at the level of the body divine?

Mindfulness Practice: Opening Up To The Possible!

inner-peace-is-where-you-choose-it-to-be

Your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs create the landscape in your mind that you call “here.” The challenging element is that it’s not fixed. Even while you inhabit it, it is changing based on your perception.

Your inner landscape reflects your feelings and the thoughts that are connected to them.

Two people can encounter the same situation and have completely different reactions based on their own history and stories. For instance, one person sees a picture of the Eiffel Tower and feels excitement and romance because it’s where their partner proposed. Another sees the same picture and feels sick to their stomach because it reminds them of the trip to France that led to a romantic breakup. Same photo, two very different responses rooted in their own individual experiences.

The ground beneath you, the atmosphere around you, and the energy within you can all shift in an instant as you react to what you perceive as happening in your life.

Past or Present? It’s Hard to Tell…

Creating Our Own Reality

mindful
As the world heals slowly from the advent of the Pandemic, the spirits of mankind also, heal from within.

The last year has been a depressing year for most people, in terms of finance and emotional well being. Lots of people have struggled with their thoughts within, much as they have been trying to keep their physical health in correct order.

The world on the whole has emerged stronger on a level of consciousness, yet on a more individual note, we need to address the underlying issues of the human psyche, in order for them to be sorted, and for humanity at large to be happier and joyful.

NEGATIVE THINKING
What creates the most amount of emotional pain, is negative thoughts. These in turn attract negative consequences or take the individual , into a lot of mental and emotional pain.

Don’t Blame the Victim

kindness
A big part of having success with the Law of Attraction is understanding that “thoughts are things” and that our feelings, thoughts, beliefs help to co-create our reality. Other factors that also influence our lives include karma, divine timing, destiny, free will and that omnipresent reality of “shit happens.”

When something really bad happens to someone – lets say a serious diagnosis, losing a job, a big car crash, and then a supposedly well-meaning “spiritual friend” asks them, “ what thoughts were you having that would cause this?”

Well, this scenario just makes me crazy.

We would never ask an abused child, “hey kid, what thoughts did you have that created these beatings?”

So, unless someone is sitting around thinking, “wow, wouldn’t it be cool if I manage to get stage 4 colon cancer so I can scare myself and my family and go on a multi-year journey to fight the cancer and maybe live?”

Want to Stop Living in Fight or Flight Mode?

iStock-1167360726 By Sandra & Daniel Biskind

Did you know that unconscious thoughts trigger chemical messengers in your brain, which in turn trigger your cells to take action?

Let’s break it down...

You may be familiar with the “fight-or-flight” response.

This response is something we all have.  On an evolutionary scale, it was intended to be triggered when we are faced with a predator, one that may kill or eat us.

In this situation, we have two choices: to fight the predator or to RUN.

Our bodies are flooded with adrenaline that gives it the ability to do one or the other.

That same response is triggered in humans every single day.

We are not running from tigers any longer but…

Conversations with your Soul

Conversations with your Soul Conversations with your Soul

For many years, I’ve kept my own journals to capture my own spiritual progress and record the patterns weaving in and around my life. When I look back, I can see how I’ve grown, and I appreciate the important lessons I needed to encounter along the way. During these unprecedented times, I find myself needing to record my thoughts and feelings more, as though I am drawn to the need to record them. My mind goes round and round trying to make sense of what is happening right now, not just in the USA, but all over the world.

The spiritual discipline of journaling is meant to be so much more than just a record of events. It’s a way to relish time with your self in quiet contemplation and reflection, and it will help you connect with your soul on a deeper level.  It’s a bit like a meditative conversation with your inner-self. It can also be a cathartic time, where you're able to work out your response to what's going on, and hopefully find comfort from within. If you've never made time to keep a journal before, maybe this is the ideal time to start. I like to call my journal, a Soul Journal.

How to Create a Life Changing Mantra

How to Create a Life Changing Mantra How to Create a Life Changing Mantra

Mantras are honored in a vast variety of spiritual practices and traditions, through many centuries. They elevate daily lives, and have an important place in both mindful and intentional living. Mantras are also one of the main ingredients in successful manifestation. They can be words, sounds or even repetitive actions.

Many people experience life without recognizing their personal power.  The words and thoughts we repeatedly tell ourselves are basically mantras that are void of sacred energy and intent. I invite you to take charge of your life by using intentional mantras. Follow these simple steps and get ready to celebrate your dreams:

It’s highly unlikely any of us have consciously had that thought or any thought to choose a bad event. So, while it is true that we cause things with our thoughts, fears and beliefs, it is also true that there are other factors that are at work here.

We all benefit from being more aware and more mindful of our thoughts and as much as possible trying to keep our thoughts positive, but it’s also not useful to “blame the victim,” and kick them when their down, by suggesting they caused the problem.

Feeling Truth

groupemeditation--Erik_Brolin Feeling Truth
Most evenings my husband, son and I settle into the living room for our evening practice. After the dogs are calm and a candle lit, I lead us on a guided meditation. We also use this time to discuss the power of words, thoughts and positive affirmations. My heart expands each time we practice together.

The combination of positive affirmations and meditation is a powerful way to experience life’s abundance, peace, and Grace.

What makes an affirmation good or strong enough to positively enhance your life? Choose your words carefully. Ideally your affirmation will be short, uncomplicated, based on the present, and most importantly feel truthful. You need to be able to feel the truth, or in other words, believe your affirmation. Here is a easy to understand this concept of feeling truth.

Imagine sharing a wonderful experience with your friend. All the words, joy, feelings, emotions flow together perfectly. You are sharing a truthful experience. Your body responds and your heart opens. You are ready to both receive and share; love and abundance.

How to Get Stress Free Fast

woman-feeling-autumn-picture-id904300636 How to Get Stress Free Fast

Stress is something we all feel from time to time but it shouldn’t control your life.

In fact, you can take control of the stress by taking radical personal responsibility for the way you react to that stressful situation.

First of all, it’s vital to act out of integrity and silence the ego mind’s rantings, blaming everyone else for the pain and confusion.

Next, remove yourself from the situation if at all possible. Even stepping away temporarily has tremendous benefits.

Is The Law Of Attraction Real?

red-heart-shaped-tree-picture-id542701780 Is The Law Of Attraction Real?

You are what you think. Most people don’t realize how powerful thoughts are and how each thought has its own unique energy signature. You’re a magnetic energy being – so that when you have a thought – it’s immediately lodged in your magnetic field, which is more commonly known as your aura.

When that thought remains in this field for any length of time, it often radiates out to be absorbed into the Universe.  It’s easy to imagine what’s likely to happen to someone who constantly fears certain things will happen in their life. They’re consciously thinking about it, dwelling on it, obsessing on it, feeding their precious energy into it. The net result is that they end up sending that stream of fear-based thought out into the universe. It’s like they’re holding up a sign above their head with a giant arrow saying: “Hey, come to me!” So, it usually does. Then you’ll hear them say: “I knew this was going to happen!” It’s not rocket science to see that ‘we attract what we think’.

What Really is the “Mind” and How Can We Harness the Power of Our Minds?

jasmina-Desai-What-Really-is-the-Mind
The priest (swamiji) at our temple used to tell us the story of a magical “Genie” given to human beings by God. This genie is able to do whatever we ask of it, as long it is kept busy all the time. The caution was, if this genie did not have something to do, it would wander off and cause us problems. So it was given a pole to climb up and down like a monkey until the next need for this genie arises. According to swamiji, this genie is our “mind” and the pole is the inhalation and exhalation of breath. To avoid unnecessary problems and troubles, we were advised to focus our mind on the breath when we were not using our minds.

We hear so many words related to the mind such as conscious mind, sub conscious or unconscious mind, narrow mindedness, mindfulness, mastermind, mind blowing, mindless, remind, never mind, absent minded, mind set and peace of mind. What really is the “mind” and how can we use it to our advantage?

According to Vedic scriptures of Hinduism, sat (truth) or the absolute is that which remains true in all periods of time – the past, the present and the future. From standpoint of the absolute, there is no mind. But the mind is not “asat” (false) or totally non-existent either. Therefore, the mind comes under the category of mithya or an illusory entity. According to these scriptures, human beings have five bodies or koshas which goes from gross to subtler forms or from separateness to oneness at different levels.

  1. Physical body which is made of matter and is visible.
  2. Etheric body which is our energy body and can be felt.
  3. Mind body which is made of thoughts and vibrations. This body is very important because it holds your experiences from this and past lives or psychic impressions which creates our belief systems (samskaras). Whatever happens to us constitutes only 3 to 5 % of our experience but the reaction to the event constitutes over 95% of our present experience depending on our past psychic impressions. As we become more conscious and aware we have more control over our projections and are able to respond instead of react.
  4. Causal body which is made of wisdom or consciousness.
  5. Bliss body which is associated with feeling of ultimate peace, joy, love or Samadhi.

Activating the Power of the Subconscious Mind

Activating the Power of the Subconscious Mind

The untapped power of the subconscious mind can lead you to new success in your personal life and business life. Discovering how to turn your thoughts into positive and implementing the law of attraction into your daily life can take you to new heights. In order to fully understand the power of your unconscious mind, you first need to understand the difference between your unconscious and your conscious mind. Your conscious mind is the awareness you have in the current moment.

Your Conscious Mind:

This is your awareness of your surroundings, your current thoughts and emotions, the physical sensations in your body, whether or not you’re hungry, and so on. Your unconscious mind is any information that is below the threshold of your current awareness.

Your Subconscious Mind:

Examples of your subconscious are memories, beliefs, fears and subjective maps of reality. The thing with your unconscious mind is it’s very powerful and can, without your awareness, direct the course of what you do in your life.

Because of this, you must learn to choose our thoughts effectively, because your thoughts, both conscious and unconscious, due to the Law of Attraction, are what are creating your current experience of reality—including your level of success in every area of your life—work, financial, relationships, health, and happiness.
