It's easy to forget that we are all perfect in our own design. Sometimes we muck it up with habits and choices that do not serve us.

How To Deal With Fear

How To Deal With Fear How To Deal With Fear

We are going through some intense times right now in the world.

Many of us are worried about our safety and how we take care of ourselves and those we love.

I believe that we will get through this together, and we can get through these times stronger.

In dealing with COVID-19, it is important to be smart, discerning and intentional in doing our part to ensure we take care of ourselves and those around us, our loved ones, our elderly and our children.

It is important that we focus on what we can control, not on what we cannot. This will only create more fear and panic. We can take responsibility for building up our immune system with rest, sleep, hydration, supplements (i.e: Vitamin C, echinacea, ginger, turmeric, oregano oil, etc.).

What you focus on expands.

So keep your thoughts and feelings in a positive state rather than collapsing and indulging in fear, which only causes us to make irrational decisions. This will also help keep your immune systems high.

I believe that despite how things might seem, we are in a great time of awakening and purification. Have faith that on a bigger level, we are going through a profound spiritual process for the planet.

In order for true healing to happen, our shadow must come to the surface and be transformed. This is part of the healing process. We have suppressed so much for so long.

But when the darkness comes to light, it won’t be pretty at first, and it’s easy to judge it. But this only serves to reinforce it. We must choose to transform it through love and compassion, starting with ourselves.

As spiritual beings, it’s easy to focus on only light. It’s easy to do a spiritual bypass and only want to focus on the light. But now is a time for us all as a humanity to face our shadows and acknowledge our darkness or else it will silently consume us.

Consider that the Universe is giving us a “time out” to think about some things.

We are being forced to face our shadow directly now. Those dark parts of ourselves, addictions, wounds that lurk in the depths of our psyche that we have tried to hide, so that we will individually and collectively heal as a society.

I truly believe in the power of the human spirit to triumph. We have done it before, and we will do it again as long as we work together in unison.

Yes it is challenging. But on a spiritual level, it’s also giving us a great opportunity. Whilst the spread of COVID-19 is forcing us to work at home, we can use this time to do the following:

1) Spend time in deep introspection. Meditate and reflect on your life. Explore what’s truly important and meaningful to you as you reflect on why you’re doing what you’re doing, how you’re living and what your purpose is. This is an opportunity to use this time to bring yourself into deeper alignment with your true soul’s expression and purpose.

2) Let those in your life know how much they mean to you and how much you love them. It’s times likes these that remind us of what is important in life – example, spending time with our families and loved ones. We can build more intimacy, communication and connection.

3) Focus on loving yourself as well as others. I believe that the most powerful vibration is the vibration of love. If we stay in that, it’s our highest immunity. Times like these, where humanity gets contracted, is an opportunity where loving is more important. Yes, we may need to practice some social distancing and postpone events and cancel certain plans. But that does not mean we have to cancel communication, kindness, compassion, consideration, caring and loving.

4) Put your spiritual practice into real world action. Savor this moment serving your soul’s evolution. It’s an opportunity to observe your thoughts, observe your mind, and practice living in the present moment. Rather than allowing your thoughts to spin into negative future fantasies. I repeat. Yes, take precautions – wash your hands, use sanitizers, etc. But do not leave the mind unchecked and give free reign to spiral into panic. Panic does not resolve the situation. When we act from panic and fear, we create more suffering in the world.

In Chinese, the word crisis also means opportunity. I believe that right now something more than before is seeking to be birthed for us as a humanity to evolve into who we really are.

So let’s use this experience to not just meditate and spiritualize, but to live our spirituality and put our loving practice into action by not just focusing on ourselves but how we can help those in need. Reaching out, making phone calls, checking in with those who don’t have family in the community.

This is the time. There are people that need you.

If you’re looking for a purpose, the universe is giving you one.

I believe that our souls incarnate into this world in order to grow, learn lessons and evolve. Ultimately, every experience will serve our evolution.

So let’s use this experience to serve our evolution and that of those around us.

We may not fully understand with our limited human minds what or why things are happening in a given moment. We must trust that everything is unfolding for our highest good and that of all beings.

And each of us has the responsibility to do our part, to be the very change that we seek.

Our real work as a humanity is just beginning.

This is the mission we signed up for and the reason we were born on planet earth at this unique time in human history.

No more waiting.

No more excuses.

No more projecting.

No more complaining.

The world is waiting for you.

No one is coming.

You are already here.

There will always be challenges in life.

But in any given moment, we have the power to choose how we respond.

With fear or with love.

So please take care of yourself and your families.

But also remember, we are one human family.

We are one.
