The power of imagination is vastly underestimated in our culture. And yet, it’s what brings everything we see into existence! Every physical form – from chairs and buildings to systems and lighting – was first a thought. That thought, paired with inspired action, led to its physical manifestation. 

The same creative power rests in you: to bring your own dreams from the realm of imagination into your physical reality. But not everyone who is aware of that power is able to tap into it right away. To activate that potential, you need to be in harmony with the Law of Attraction, which works to help you bring your vision to life. 

Today we’re going to take hold of that creative power using a series of Law of Attraction exercises that amplify your connection to the infinite and attract your dream into your new, incredible reality. 

So let’s get right into dream-building!

Getting to Know Your Creative Power And How It Helps You Manifest Your Dream Life

The sun has an infinite amount of energy radiating into the Universe – power that is on and active 24/7, 365 days of the year.

To put that into perspective, humanity as a civilization has only learned how to tap into “10,000th of the amount of power the sun provides to the Earth,” which means we are far from utilizing its full potential.

In the same way, the Universe provides us with an infinite supply of energy that most people barely use, let alone are aware of. The secret to tapping into that unlimited potential is by understanding how that creative power works WITH you to bring your dreams into reality. 

So to start off this exploration, know that your thinking creates energy, and each thought holds its own vibration. Your thoughts then determine your results, which is why it’s important to be on the frequency of success within your own thinking. 

Activate Your Subconscious Mind

The easiest way to connect your thoughts with your reality is by first writing them down. This works because it engages both hemispheres of your brain: the right (which is imaginative) and your left (which is literal/logic-based).

When you only “think” about your goals or dreams, you’re limiting it to your imaginative center. But when you write down something that you desire, you also activate the logic-based, left hemisphere.

In turn, your consciousness and each cell of your body sends the message, “I want this and I mean it!”

Writing down your dreams and goals allows your subconscious mind, which is your powerhouse of productivity and ideas, to expand into an entirely new level of literal creativity. 

So, when you use your creative power, be clear and specific in your details so that you can create a crystal clear image of success that you can focus positive energy on.

Shift Into The Frequency Of Success With Law Of Attraction Exercises

Before using any of the following Law of Attraction exercises, keep in mind that the purpose behind each of them is to help you train your creative energy into being intentional

If you approach these exercises simply as a “checklist for success”, you run the risk of slipping into a low-vibration mentality of “I have to do this” instead of “ I GET to do this!”

With “I get to,” you welcome action in a conscious, intentional way that spiritually aligns you with your vision.

Becoming more aware of your thoughts and words empowers you to carry the vibration that is in harmony with success. This practice is called “brave thinking”.

These exercises are not for those who desire instant success or gratification. Instead, like physical exercise, you have to be consistent over time, keep track of progress, and train your mind into more and more brave thinking. 

Manifesting your dream, after all, is a life-long journey up the spiral of your own becoming – not a one-hit wonder!

Remember that consistent baby steps will get you anywhere, even to the top of Mt. Everest. 

With that said, let’s delve into each of these law of attraction exercises so you can amplify your connection to the Infinite and lean into the vision of your dream life!

1. Use a Vision Board (a.k.a Dream Board)

A vision board focuses on the power of visualization to create even more clarity and specificity in your dream. Executing this exercise is as straight-forward (and fun!) as you can get:

1. Select a blank canvas (a wall, a poster, a piece of paper, etc.).

2. Collect inspirational materials to decorate your canvas, such as:

  • Magazine Cut-Outs
  • Quotes
  • Photos of your:
    • Dream Life
    • Dream Relationship
    • Dream Vacation
    • Dream Job
  • Affirmations (which we’ll discuss in more detail later)

3. Decorate your canvas with your inspirational materials!

4. Once you create your personal masterpiece, place it somewhere that you can see on a regular basis. Ideally, you’ll be able to see it right before you go to sleep, when you wake up in the morning, or as you go about your day!

In lieu of a physical vision board, you can also use an online Pinterest board. This makes it even easier to add to your vision board at the moment of inspiration!

There are plenty of online vision board templates, but this Law of Attraction exercise isn’t about how “attractive” it looks. It’s about how it makes you feel. 

A VISION BOARD IS A POWERFUL TOOL THAT REMINDS YOU OF YOUR MAJOR GOALS AND ENERGIZES YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS WITH POSITIVE FEELINGS.

No matter what you use to build your vision board, remember that its power lies in guiding you back to your dream in the face of discouragement, distraction, or the temptation to delay taking action toward your dreams. 

The more you give it your attention, the more it will work its magic in your life!

2. Creative Visualization Exercises

Feel free to get creative and use more than one way to combine the power of visualization with your Law of Attraction exercises! Doing so helps you reinforce the connection between your imagination and your reality in a conscious, intentional way, thereby crystallizing the image of your dream even further!

That’s because art is a perfect example of how your imagination shapes your reality. The images in your mind guide you in shaping their physical form and you are the only person who can make that unique blueprint come to life! 

Getting into the exercise of drawing, painting, or other hands-on crafts to represent your dreams will remind you of that creative ability. 

“Creative visualization exercises” are just another way to describe activities that help you move thoughts onto paper, and thereby set a decree to your subconscious that you’re not only aware of your thinking, but able to act on them. 

3. Build A Gratitude Book

The most successful people point to gratitude as their key to success. 

For example, Oprah Winfrey kept a gratitude journal and wrote five things she was grateful for every day. 

During a graduation speech, she shared:

“I practice being grateful,” Winfrey said. “And a lot of people say, ‘Oh Oprah, that’s easy for you ‘cause you got everything!’”

On the contrary, Winfrey argued: “I got everything because I practiced being grateful.

The generative frequency of gratitude allows you to accept the gifts the Universe freely offers you without letting go of your gratitude for your current experience. 

That’s because gratitude is the frequency harmonious with the experience of abundance.

Even in challenging times, feeling grateful allows you to see and experience things in a new light, and ultimately keeps you in harmony with the Law of Attraction. 

4. Journal Your Achievements/Success Stories

At times, as you work to bring your dreams into existence, you will deal with your inner critic and imposter syndrome. An effective defense is to keep a list of all the extraordinary results you’ve already achieved in your life. That way, you’ll be ready to respond with a collection of your personal achievements and success stories! 

From winning a talent show back in elementary school to successfully starting your own business, your success stories can be of any size, caliber, or recency. 

This exercise will prepare you for when circumstances, situations, or conditions attempt to disrupt your dream building with discouragement, doubt, or the temptation to delay action. 

By keeping a journal, you will be able to look back and remind yourself of your accomplishments, successes, and capabilities whenever you feel pulled back into your comfort zone!

5. Write And Read Aloud Daily Affirmations

One way to take back control of all the voices and thoughts running through your mind is to write affirmations and read them out loud to yourself every day. 

The power behind affirmations is on creating them with brave thinking principles.  That means they bring your dreams into the present tense, use positive thinking, and are made with a positive outlook in mind. 

A note when creating these affirmations is that it’s important to release the “how”. When you trust that the Universe has an infinite number of ways to supply and support your dream, you shift into an energetic vibration that’s open and expecting to receive!

As you confidently declare what you’re manifesting in existence, allow the Universe to take care of how your dreams are going to be realized. 

So for this Law of Attraction exercise, you train your mind to think as a matter of when – not how.

6. Connect With Partners In Believing 

The desire to expand your life into bigger dreams and greater abundance is both natural and a call to celebration! And just with any other celebration, they’re best when shared with others.

As you work on creating a life you love, remember that the most important part of achieving your dreams is who you become along the way. That includes the relationships you make.

So be intentional with the people you invite into your life. As the Law of Averages state:

“You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.”

Let those five be “partners in believing”  who will help you nurture your dreams, challenge you to dream bigger, and remind you of your goals when obstacles try to distract you from your greater vision. 

Most importantly, believe in yourself. Surround yourself with people who will keep believing in you even when you stumble so you can borrow from their belief. With a solid support system, you’ll not only grow, but you’ll get through the days when you forget how truly powerful you are.

Tie Everything Together With Daily Action

As you build your dreams, you will become more and more familiar with the value of baby steps. Regardless of how much you plan or promise, what’s really going to attract your dream into existence is all in faithful execution.

That’s the hidden beauty of these law of attraction exercises. Ultimately, they remind you to create – to implement – and to activate

They are not a “to-do” list but a “to-be” list of things that will help you align with the version of yourself that already has everything you dream of. 

So with each passing moment of opportunity, consider what you can do to create success. Whether that be in your relationships, your work, or within yourself. 

Theodore Roosevelt says it best, “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” 

Surely, as you stay the course, you will amplify your connection to the infinite as life seeks to express itself through you in ever-expanding ways. And on that manifestation journey, you will find yourself living out your dream.
