How to Integrate Cosmic Ordering into Your Business

What Is Cosmic Ordering?

The person who introduced me to cosmic ordering was Ellen Watts. Ellen explains that essentially, cosmic ordering is asking the Universe for what you want – and it arrives. It’s not something she has created all by herself either; rather, it’s been around forever. You’ll even find cosmic ordering in the Bible, where it is referred to as ‘miracles.’

Ellen shared with me her cosmic ordering technique, which is to say: “What I really want is X” and finish by saying “For the good of all concerned.” Ellen stresses that it is very important to finish each cosmic order with that final sentence as it ensures that no one should ever lose out in order for you to gain. This is very important to her when she places her orders, especially orders relating to money, as she doesn’t want anyone to die in order to leave money to her.

It is important to remember that you must never wish for anything bad on someone else as that is just a way to create bad karma for yourself. In fact, orders asking for something bad to happen to someone else will never be delivered. Cosmic orders are about you – specifically what you want for yourself – and are therefore delivered to you. It’s similar to when you go to a restaurant and place an order for your food. You order what you want to eat for yourself (pizza with a side order of chips) – not anyone else.

Keys to Being A Powerful Sales Goddess That Others Want to Mirror

All good leaders must lead by example, that is a given. Being a powerful woman in Sales and Leadership is no different - you MUST walk your talk. Through actions which are aligned with what you say, you become a Goddess who others want to follow, mirror and do business with. When leaders say one thing but do another they erode trust, a critical element of effective leadership and successful sales. Remember behaviors speak louder than words. When trust is allowed to build, a leader will always have a supportive team, ongoing loyal clients and friends who are there to cheer her on.

Here are the keys to being a Powerful Sales Goddess:

The Single Most Important, Powerful & Effective Transformational “Tool” of My Entire Life

In my nearly 50 years of studying and practicing the Universal Laws that govern success, I have tried countless strategies to create results in my life.

From ancient teachings, to scientific breakthrough methods, or practices I discovered along the way.

But more than any other success strategy, I have found there’s ONE powerful way to transform your life with far less stress than you could do on your own…

This resource far outperforms any method, formula or system

It’s having a mentor!

I firmly believe that having a mentor is the most powerful resource I know for overcoming obstacles and building a life you would love.

When you start working with a mentor, it’s not unusual to make more progress towards your dreams in a couple of weeks that you have made in a whole year before!

How do I know this, you may ask?

Because I know firsthand how impactful having a mentor can be.

Right now, I’m living a great life I love: I have built three 8-figure businesses, spoken at the United Nations three times, I have an amazing husband and wonderful kids…

But my life wasn’t always like this. Decades ago, I was struggling to get my first business off the ground… I was stuck for seven years

Until a mentor helped me overcome the plateau I was stuck in. He helped me break through challenges in my business and completely transform my life in multiple, powerful ways.

Before meeting my mentor, it was a struggle to get more than 20 people to show up for my talks…

However, within a year of working with him, I was able to break through my previous record of 40 attendees to 90 people showing up regularly! The following year, 350 people came to my talks… Ultimately, 3,000 people were showing up on a regular basis!

But this exponential progress didn’t happen to me… it happened with me, because I had expert guidance along the way: a mentor.

What exactly is a mentor?

How Come it Takes So Long to Succeed? (and what you can do about it…)

Working on a long-term dream or goal? Oh, I see workshop participants worry like grandmothers, patting down an imaginary apron, as they talk about their perceived lack of progress. Because those of us daring to live unconventional, inspired lives often feel plagued by this: Why does it take so long to succeed?

I don’t know about you, but I kept thinking I must be doing something wrong. It was obvious everyone else had it altogether.

I saw other’s perfection on T.V.--- though I managed to ignore the drug commercials for depression, high blood pressure, fatigue, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts---which should have been a clue. I kept looking for my pattern, my ancestor’s pattern, a fly in the ointment, something to blame for still sorting through a life in process.

Maybe I just didn’t go to the right astrologer, business-coach, or witch-doctor. Maybe I should have seen John of God or spent a tiny bit less time plundering Nordstrom’s and thrift stores. Maybe I should have shoveled out my subconscious mind, gotten a chiropractic adjustment for my karma, taken an internet marketing course, or moved to the Bay area. And don’t get me started on family.

How to Reject Rejection

“No” doesn’t have to be the end of the story. You can learn how to reject rejection, and look at it as an opportunity to progress forward and even excel at the very thing you were rejected for.

Today I want to talk to you about how to reject rejection—and how to use it to launch yourself even closer to your goals.

Rejection Does Not Mean Failure

If I were a betting man, I’d wager that you don’t like being rejected. Of course not, it’s not a good feeling. Who among us looks forward to being told our idea wasn’t good enough, that we didn’t quite measure up to the task, or we ourselves are somehow flawed?

Dare to Ask for What You Want

My first mentor, W. Clement Stone, the author of “The Success System That Never Fails,” taught me many things, but one of the most important being able to ask for what you want.

He would repeatedly remind me, “If there is something to gain by asking and nothing to lose by asking, by all means ask.” This one principle has reaped great rewards in my life, and it can do the same for you.

That’s why today, I want to discuss the importance of asking for what you want in order to reach your full potential.

How to Ask For What You Want

Unfortunately, many of us are not great at asking for what we want. For any number of reasons stemming from childhood conditioning to traumatic rejections later in life, we have become afraid of the word “no.”

To be successful, you have to be willing to ask and keep asking for what you want until you get a “yes.”

Rejection is just part of the journey to finally getting to a “yes.” And it only takes one “yes” to radically change your life forever.

The Secret to Funding Your Dreams

There are some hugely negative connotations in our culture today about constantly having new ideas and dreaming about your future. We’re pressed towards having a steady, life-long career regardless of how it makes us feel, making a lot of money, and that’s our culture’s definition of success… So why do I talk so much about what it means and how it feels to be a dreamer?

Because here’s the truth about dreaming: no dream is idle. As a dreamer, you are one of the lucky ones. You have the energy, openness, and creativity to allow dreams to manifest within you and become your new reality.

Dreaming and pursuing your dreams shouldn’t be reserved for the wealthy. There’s no denying that money affords opportunity, but I believe you can turn the money you have right now into a sustainable support for your dream. You’re not rich? Not a problem. I wasn’t either when I started my financial business. All you need is to find the root of your dream, be practical about where you invest your time and how you save, spend, and invest your money.

Mark Nepo's Weekly Reflection: Living a Making

When finding my way as a young man, I came home from college to have a classic argument with my father. Over dinner the first night, I declared to him with excitement that I was a poet. I hadn’t yet written anything but knew it was true. He was incredulous and frustrated and loudly asked, “How are you going to make a living?” I’m not sure where it came from in me, but I looked at him and said, “I’m going to live a making.” I confess that I’ve spent much of my life learning what that means. And it is living a making for so many years that has led me to the place of true meeting that waits under all our struggles.

I have learned that making a living is how we survive, but living a making is how we thrive. We need the strength and resilience to do both.

There is always a tension between surviving and thriving, and between making a living and living a making. Part of the journey of individuation is withstanding the tension of both until they work hand in hand.

How to Be the CEO of Your Own Life

Tell me if you can relate… Are you feeling stuck in a job that isn’t satisfying, perhaps one that’s not taking you anywhere you truly want to go? Maybe you don’t know what to do about it or how to change? Do you find yourself hating your work and feeling stuck there?

I encounter this a lot in my own work, and believe it or not, it’s not only people who are financially strapped with stories similar to these. No matter the amount of money in a 401k and other savings, any one of us can look up one day to find ourselves decades-deep in a less-than-desirable job situation without a clue for how to escape.

The job landscape is transforming before our eyes, forcing a lot of people to take jobs they don’t love simply to get by financially. Others of us are staying in jobs we don’t like to maintain a lifestyle we were once convinced we wanted, but now all this “just getting by” is making us feel like another drone in the system.

5 Tips for Focusing Used by Successful People

If you were to ask someone like Mark Zuckerberg, Oprah Winfrey, or Elon Musk why they have managed to create such incredible success in life, they would probably credit their achievements to one thing: their ability to FOCUS.

Today I’d like to teach you some of the best tips for focusing that I’ve learned from the highly focused and successful people I’ve met and worked with, so you can put their methods to work in your life – and achieve your goals much faster and much more efficiently.

We Are Prone to Distractions

Being able to focus on the task in front of you and get it done, no matter what is happening around you, is like a modern-day superpower. Most of us aren’t able to do this.

We lose countless hours of aimlessly surfing on social media. We check our phone hundreds of times a day and allow ourselves to get pulled into online conversations that take us away from the more important things we should be doing.

We spend our evenings and weekends bingeing on the latest popular HBO or Netflix series, and then we wonder why we haven’t gotten any closer to accomplishing our goals!

Face it: we all experience lack of focus from time to time.

The Only Road to Everything You Want

We commit to real change, and then we resist it. This cosmic dance has been going on forever in every ballroom since the beginning of time. Remember those New Year’s intentions?  Then you know what I mean. What’s up with that? Let’s talk focus….

I’ve committed to write more this year. It’s what I want. Now that I’ve said it, I know I will drag myself into my writing room-- and it will feel as though I have to hoist a dead whale body out of the way---just to sit down and type out a sentence—and this is my “bliss,” mind you. Naturally, I’ll want to pet my cat until she’s bald, then wash my hands, then research how did soap get invented, and then perhaps start a small organic soap company on the side that employs underprivileged women in third world countries. Oh, but I’ll stay put. I’ll write. Because I’ve committed to this focus.

There is a part of myself who will wheedle: “Maybe tomorrow. You’ll feel better tomorrow.” Then there’s the one who’s painted her toenails Purple Passion, during writing time, and stomps her imperial feet. “I don’t want to write,” she bellows.  Another part of me bargains. “I’ll answer email now. Do the dishes. Work on taxes. Okay, okay, I’ll exercise!”

True Acceptance, Big Desire and Uncovering Your Wild, Right Life

I’m in the biz of helping people live their wildest dreams. I’m also a champion of discovering the wild genius of your current life. These two tracks must go hand in hand-- or else they can undermine you. After two decades of being in this field, I want to give you the best of the best of effective focus. So let’s talk about how to use the innate strategy of “big desire”—and that bad boy super power “true acceptance.” Together, big desire and true acceptance are an unbeatable dynamic mindset duo—guaranteed to take you into the one amazing life you’ve always wanted.

Why Desire is Everything

In my career coaching, I rarely listen to my clients’ “reasonable” desires. I’m a conjurer with a glittery heart. “What do you really want, like what’s too good to be true to want?” I ask. “Only the real dream has the power,” I remind them.

Real dreams have the power of Godzilla, extinguishing miniature ideas of “why things can’t work.” That’s why I hunt for purity. I know the crazy truth is your secret code. It’s holy. It’s mystical. It’s involuntary. And it makes you giggle. The truth is safer than the denial of truth. The truth will take you all the way.

How Mind Mapping Will Help You Achieve Your Goals

Mind mapping is a powerful way to create a dynamic to-do list. It’s simple to learn and use, too.

That’s why today, I want to discuss how you can leverage the power of mind mapping to achieve your goals and succeed at anything you choose!

Why Try Mind Mapping

Are you ever daunted by the question of where to begin? You’ve set a goal and know it’s the right path for you to take, but the steps you need to take are not fully clear and in no particular order.

Where should you start when everything seems equally important? You could certainly talk to others who have pursued the same goal, buy a how-to book, or begin to learn the skills you think you need.

I’ve been in that spot before and know exactly what you might be feeling.

I’ve found one technique that helps me carve out the key steps to take and get all that thinking out of my head and other paper. I’ve created books and many products by using mind mapping.

The End of Feeling Lame, And The Beginning of Endless Progress

I don’t know about you but I’ve often felt like I must be doing it wrong—missing the secret ingredient to life. But that’s so over now. I’ve seen through the veil. I’m rocking out to a new hymn. It’s a shift in focus I’m going to share with you:

Screw “doing it wrong.” I’m doing things. I’m making wacky, inevitable progress.

I’ve put wobble girl in the closet. I’ve muzzled Ms. Perfection who would like to ask a few more questions throughout the next decade, get it right, before ever getting it wrong.  But I’m showing up to the party now.  I’m wearing a tiara or a tent, but I’m going forward. I didn’t get the memo. I may never get the memo. Maybe I haven’t life-hacked a thing. Maybe I don’t even really know what life-hacking means.

But here’s what I do know. I’m showing up. I’m going to be that zombie in a bad B movie. I’m going to keep getting up again.  Because life will eventually bow to those who do the legwork. I am not wasting one more stupid minute on wondering why I always do it wrong, do it wrong, do it wrong. Here’s my new religion, one that has me singing halleluiah to a wide-eyed, stumbling part of myself:

I am doing it. I am doing it. I am doing it.

Whether it’s the small project of decluttering your office or your life-long dream of starting your own business, we all need to find a way to jumpstart out motivation once in a while.

So today, I want to share with you 10 tips you can use for overcoming procrastination with any project you want to accomplish.

Order The Success Principles Workbook Today!

1. Commit to the Decision

The first thing you have to do is to make a decision to overcome procrastination and achieve your goal.

The word decision comes from the Latin word “decidere”, which means to cut off all other options, including the option of not doing it.

Once you have this level of commitment to your goal, you will feel more emotionally attached to its success – like a promise to yourself.

Use Feedback to Your Advantage

Once you begin to take action on a project or a goal, you’ll start getting feedback about whether you’re doing the right thing.  You’ll get data, advice, help, suggestions, direction – and even criticism – that will help you constantly adjust and move forward, while continually enhancing your knowledge, abilities, attitudes and relationships.

But asking for feedback is really only the first part of the equation.  Once you receive feedback you have to be willing to embrace it and respond to it.

Positive or Negative … it’s ALL good!

There are two kinds of feedback you might encounter, negative and positive. We tend to prefer the positive: results, money, praise, promotion, raise, awards, happiness, inner peace, etc. It feels better. It tells us we are on course and doing the right thing.

We tend not to like negative feedback: lack of results, little or no money, criticism, poor evaluations, complaints, unhappiness, inner conflict, pain, etc.

However, there is as much useful data in negative feedback as there is in positive feedback. It tells us that we are off course, headed in the wrong direction, and doing the wrong thing. This is priceless information!

It’s time to Launch your life

We, as logical humans, can get so caught up in preparation.

We want to be ready and fully prepared in order to avoid mistakes and failures, so we spend a lot of time getting ready… but do you know how much time you waste getting ready to be ready? You get readier than you need to be, avoid mistakes that don’t need to be avoided, and soon you’re the chief of overprepared! While this might make you think yourself into feeling better, it might be stunting your progress and growth.

The Problem With Over-Preparedness

Don’t get me wrong, preparedness is a great thing. God knows in my life, I’ve been WELL overprepared! In this world of information with lists of how-tos, to-dos, and to-avoids, there is always something more to learn… which is a recipe for insanity if we get sucked in. Answers to practically any question ever asked is a simple internet search away, making the amount of education available incredibly overwhelming. If we aren’t careful, we will feel lost in our lack of information which does nothing but distract from the good we could be doing in these moments.

The Practicality Of Following Your Passion

You may tell yourself that your desires are silly and frivolous like ruffles on overalls or diamonds on a poodle.  They’re unrealistic. They’re ridiculous, at your age. They’re dangerous.  They’re self-inflated.  They’re ravings– not “clues” or signs. They’re distractions, not directions or medicine for your soul.  They’re a desperate mirage, not clear cool water at last, when you’ve been wandering in the seething desert.  Sure everyone wants to paint by the sea in Greece, but it’s not practical, you tell yourself.  But I’m here to tell you that you’re wrong. It’s not practical, in the typical mundane, grind yourself to death, factory worker, sense of the word.  It’s magical.  And let me tell you, what’s magical is practical on more levels than you know.  Let me introduce you to a few:

Passion is your Highest Potential of Financial Reward
Consider that OprahBill GatesWarren Buffet and every multi-billionaire followed their passions.  They did not get rich by staying in soul-sucking, energy-draining jobs. They did not get rich by ignoring their desires, but by following them. They found their element.  Roses bloom when watered.  They shrivel in the desert. Passion is your highest potential of financial reward.  You’ll give endless hours to what you love.  You’ll demonstrate insane and unthinkable proficiency.  When you love something, you have infinite resources and energy.  You have more strength and talent than you know and our world is starving for true excellence.

I have a suggestion for you.  Start looking for examples of people you know or read about who do the work they love and make a living.  The mind is trained to look for what it believes.  If you believe “creative people starve” or “doing what you love will bankrupt you” that’s the examples you’ll see in the world.  You’ve probably heard the phrase, “what you focus on grows.”  Well focus on finding the evidence for what you really do want to see.  You want to see people thriving in the work they love. And they are everywhere my friend.  They have freedom, independence, stability, and pink cheeks.  They are role models to their children, instead of shadows passing by in the morning and night.

Why Smart Goal Setting Is An Absolute Must For The Modern Entrepreneur

Smart goal setting is an absolute must for people who want to succeed. Without clear goals, you will not have a solid direction on where you’re heading in your life.

For running a business, goals can help take your business to the next level, but there are different things you have to factor in.

The following are 3 tips for goal-setting for modern entrepreneurs.

1. Set SMART Goals

Set specific and measurable goals so you’re more likely to achieve them. One of the best methods of goal-setting is setting SMART goals.

Ensure that your goals are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-bounded.

You have a better chance of achieving SMART goals than those that are vague, too broad, or don’t have a specific target date for completion.

If you not sure exactly how to start creating your own SMART goals, check out this complete guide to powerful goal-setting that is full of tips and real-life examples.

Finally, How to Live Your Dreams: Become an Unstoppable Warrior for Your Life’s Work and Desires

The question I hear most as a career/success coach is HOW do I live my dreams?

How can I take what I love and turn it into a living, an empire, or a sapphire on the crown of fame? But I know that it’s not the concrete tasks that will unleash a destiny. It’s not about “sensible” actions. It’s the love and drive of “irrational” desire. I don’t want my clients just taking actions. I want these precious souls to take inspired actions. Here’s my answer to HOW to live your dreams: It’s all about the mojo.

Indulge me, as I quote myself from Inspired & Unstoppable: Wildly Succeeding in Your Life’s Work! (and indulge me—as a proud mother– as I tell you the book hit #1 on Amazon.com for Career guides!!)

“Here’s what I know from coaching thousands of creative individuals and visionary entrepreneurs. It’s all about the mojo. The mojo unleashes the electricity that turns a light into an obliteration of darkness and an act of God. Wild success isn’t about going through the motions. It’s not even about staying in motion. This isn’t about your legs. It’s about the light in your eyes, the fire on your tongue, and the sweep of your heart. When you’re bouncing off the wall with voltage and star power, and as long as your hair looks good, nothing can withstand you for long.”

So how do you get that mojo—you ask. Clever you.
You are hoping for the trail map, so as to get somewhere. But as your new paradigm shape-shifting mentor, I want to help you to tap an inner fire and forget about chalky projections and guides.  I want you to burn with desire—and then conviction. A fire will take you places that a map never will.

You are not looking for information. You are craving transformation.

Someone could tell you “how to do your dreams,” and your brain will nod with comfortable satisfaction, but you won’t change a single strand of hair on the head of your life. You’ll tuck the workbook into your desk drawer, and you will stay barren and unmoved.  Let’s face it. You’re not looking to bake a sheet cake.

You’re looking to find a way to burst with joy and, finally, feel as though you can breathe, maybe as you have never yet breathed in this lifetime.  You will only really breathe when you believe in the certainty of the life that calls to you— more than the life you know. Everything else is pain.

The Moment You Stop Questioning…is the Moment You Start Creating

When you allow yourself to believe in your desire, you will be an unstoppable force for your life’s work.  You will have your people, those who emerge from the wood work to support you and those who clamor to have what you offer. You will know what to do because you will stop doubting the internal promptings you receive.  Yes, I know it sounds like Shangri-La talk—but it’s more powerful than that.

For me, I could only breathe– when I was breathing fire.

I urge you to follow your desires as though they are decrees from a higher authority within you. I have come to know they are. This is not a career path—though, especially in these times, it is the most likely way you will ever succeed in a career.  This is your soul’s goal and the purpose of your life. You will discover who you really are– when you follow what you really want.

To believe in your desire, is to walk on holy ground.  The poet Rumi said, “Why would you be content to crawl, when you have been given wings?”  Your wings are made of trust.
