It's easy to forget that we are all perfect in our own design. Sometimes we muck it up with habits and choices that do not serve us.

Dr. Wayne Dyer’s Greatest Hits!

He was a Seeker. A Philosopher. A Devotee of Self-Realization. An inspiring Speaker. Dr. Wayne Dyer. He was a phenomenon.

He died in 2015, just past two years ago. So that’s not why I’m writing this.

At the moment Dyer’s publisher, Hay House, is making available Free a set of video clips that show how he could take complex wisdom of the ages and make it understandable and accessible to those of us who are still mortals. They’re offering it for “a limited time only”.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”

Wayne Dyer first came on the scene with a book called
Your Erroneous Zones, in 1976. As of now it’s estimated it has sold 35 million copies, making it one of the best selling books of all time.

That launched him on the talk show circuit from “The Tonight Show” to Oprah. But what most people remember him for are his presentations on PBS during Pledge Drives.

Self-worth comes from one thing - thinking that you are worthy.”

It seemed like every year he would come up with a new book and a new program to heighten the experience of it. He’d offer books and CDs, and if you donated enough to get both he always called it, “The whole enchilada.” Asked about his success with these appearances he explained,
"I never sell a book. I sell myself. And, the way to sell yourself is to be an instrument of love."

His problem with PBS arose when they received complaints that he was advocating a faith-based position while the network was supposed to be neutral on such issues.

“You aren't your work, your accomplishments, your possessions, your home, your family... your anything. You're a creation of your Source, dressed in a physical human body intended to experience and enjoy life on Earth.”

Dyer was married three times, and had eight children.

In his presentations, he took the greatest insights of the past and brought them into daily life, through examples from his own life that ring in harmonic balance, and the big thoughts. On his death Oprah tweeted that she could always talk to Dr. Dyer about the Big Questions because, “He always had the Big Answers.”

When asked about Purpose in life – what really satisfies you – he said simply, “Find a way to be of service.”

“When you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor. It's to enjoy each step along the way

The Video Hay House released is up for only a limited time (they have not specified when). So, with the link, let me give you one more quote from the late Dr. Dyer:

Go for it now. The future is promised to no one.”

The Hay House Link is:

I want to add one of his teachings, should you not get into the Video a little past an hour…

Dyer calls it “Dyer’s Dozen”, and this little list gives you his teaching and at the same time a chance to see how much your dozen would align.

  1.   Want more for others than you want for yourself.
  2.   Think from the end: Act as if what you want is already here.
  3.   Be an appreciator in your life – look for what has value to you.
  4.   Stay in rapport with Source Energy.
  5.   Understand resistance. Every thought you have that does not align with Source is resistance.
  6.   Contemplate yourself with the conditions that you want to produce.
  7.   Understand the art of allowing – taking the path of least resistance.
  8.   Practice radical humility.
  9.   Be in a constant state of gratitude.
  10. You can never resolve a problem by condemning it.
  11. Play the match game. Am I matched up with the field of intention?
  12. Meditate.

If you like his list, definitely go to the video. Even if a couple of these didn’t make sense to you (or especially if not), maybe this is a learning opportunity you shouldn’t pass up?
