It's easy to forget that we are all perfect in our own design. Sometimes we muck it up with habits and choices that do not serve us.

The Power of Choice to Reset Intentions

The Power of Choice to Reset Intentions The Power of Choice to Reset Intentions

Few things are more powerful than choice. The decisions you make in your life determine the path you take each and every day. Made the wrong choice? Retrace your steps and choose a different one. Not sure what choice to make? Weigh the options and take the leap in one direction or the other. Overwhelmed by the array or lack of choices? Take a deep breath, step away from it and regroup.

Choice is, quite literally, at the center of everything you do in life. And this is a known fact. Every moment of every day, we have to choose something – anything, in some cases – in order move forward in life. Why, then, do we constantly choose things that will impact us negatively? And how do we stop doing that?

Today, let’s focus on the things that will help you grow into the person you always wanted to be. Today, I want you to make the empowered choice to energize your dream life.

Choose to be too positive to be doubtful; too optimistic to be fearful; and too determined to be defeated.

It’s very easy to look at our current situations in life and put more weight in the bad than in the good. Fight that urge! When you’re weighing the good and the bad, know that that scale is constantly motion. More importantly, know that you hold both sides in your hands. When the negative outweighs the positive, choose to shift.

Make a conscious decision to view obstacles not as stop signs, but speed bumps. Navigate them with confidence, not fear, and don’t look back.

Few things that are worth having will plop into your lap. There will be trials. There will be times when you have to pivot. There will even be times when you fall so hard that you will literally have to start over again. Obstacles are a part of chasing your dreams and goals; choose to use them to your advantage.

Choose to thrive, especially when you feel like you can’t.

You know those moments – when you’re so overwhelmed with doubt; when nothing is going your way; when everyone tells you that you can’t; and when the outlook is so bleak that there is no light at the end of the tunnel. Here’s a piece of advice: keep going. Your goals aren’t idle. You were given them because you can achieve them. Choose to find strength in the darkness.

Choose to listen to your gut. Conscious listening is the key to living your authentic life.

No one can give you the life you want – and no one is going to tell you how to live that life properly. And that’s why your instinct is so valuable. I know that it’s scary; we as woman are especially prone to not listening to ourselves because of self doubt. But use your gut as your guide on your journey to fulfillment, happiness, and most importantly peace. Choose to heed that voice within.

Action step

Choose to go. Choose to do. Choose to thrive. Choose to achieve. Choose to ACT! That’s what I want you to focus on this week. Always remember that your energy flows where your energy goes. You can see positive change happen in your life right before your very eyes. By setting intentions and applying practical action to them, you have the power to shape your life in exactly the way you want it to be.

It’s all in how you choose to define what you want it to be, and then live it.
