How interesting that most of us start life as toddlers singing this song:
If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands.
If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands.
If you’re happy and you know it and you really want to show it,
If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands.
We were not taught to sing about other kinds of feelings: If you’re gloomy and you know it, clap your hands. If you’re angry and you know it, clap your hands. If you’re fearful and you know it, and you really want to show it, if you’re fearful and you know it, clap your hands.
Some people live in the same place most of their lives; others move frequently over the years. Wherever you choose to go, your soul remains with you, as does your identity. The soul travels lightly, no passport, no possessions. The identity or ego, however, usually has a lot of “baggage” to declare. That baggage can take the form of either physical objects or nonphysical opinions and beliefs. Both can weigh you down, but the latter actually constricts your future experience. What you plan on, what you think should happen, places a limit on possibilities. It also limits whom you allow into your experience. The soul, without the opinions of the ego, would live life open-endedly, open-heartedly, inclusive of many kinds of experiences and people. An expansive circle instead of a small box.
As so many of us find ourselves praying more often, more fervently than ever as bombs drop on Ukraine, the world economy is in turmoil, the pandemic continues, experiencing inner peace can be a real struggle.
I’ve been on several global prayer webcasts, collectively praying and holding strong intentions for peace, for healings, for miracles, even though at times I couldn’t imagine what kind of miracle to pray for.
Every time you inhale and exhale, you are breathing the spirit of life, which is God. That’s the secret: The breath is God. In many languages, the word for spirit is the same as for breath. We hold this wisdom within the depths of our souls because it is what we are made of. Yes, we are human, but our humanity is composed of divine spirit. Your physical form is a sacred temple within which God experiences life on Earth. When you breathe, God is breathing. When you look through your eyes, God is seeing. When you look in another’s eyes, you are both gazing into pools of divinity. The only problem is that we have forgotten. We think that breathing is merely a physical phenomenon that arrives and departs with birth and death.
Some experiences and moments in our lives seem to just stick to us like dirty gum on the bottom of our shoe.
If you’ve ever had an ex you just couldn’t get over, a fight you couldn’t get out of your head, or an experience or resentment that has stayed with you for years, you know what I mean.
Sometimes we become energetically tied to another person or a situation from our past, and we have to find a way to reclaim our energy and regain our sense of sovereignty. A cord cutting ritual is the perfect way to do just that.
When you know you’re ready to release, but the old pain, old thoughts, or old patterns keep haunting your mind, and still feel real in your body, these rituals can offer you some freedom. They will help you bring your energy back to yourself and finally move on for good.
It’s natural that certain experiences or people stick with us and are hard to shake. Some relationships transform us and make us who we are, certain memories mark pivotal moments, and some experiences become part of the way we define ourselves.
Meditation is often understood as learning how to “not think”, but many find that they quickly lose focus after just a few minutes (or seconds) of trying.
However, when done correctly and intentionally, meditation can have a great deal more power and potential than simply emptying your mind. The practice of meditation can change your energy, shift your frequency, and act as an empowering spiritual reset.
In this post, you’ll learn what your “frequency” is, how it influences your emotions, and what you can do to turn meditation into a life-changing practice that isn’t just about counting your breaths and closing your eyes.
As a result, you’ll learn how to raise your vibration more easily, more consistently, and with more control so you can welcome each day with more confidence, calm, and clarity!
As we move deeper into the change of season that unfolds this time of year, do you experience a sense of loss, of gain, or is it simply a part of the cycle of life?
Similar to the four seasons, we evolve through a cycle. They are create, sustain, deconstruct (also referred to as destroy), and the void. These cycles are one unified continuum and we are part of the cycle. In fact, the cycle of life is not happening to us, it is us. We are all this one unified field, nothing is separate from us.
It is only our mind that decides that separation exists. In that decision, we become an isolated entity on this planet, rather than part of the cycle of life.
As we navigate these cycles, there are moments we experience density, chaos, or darkness – moments when there doesn't seem to be a sign of love or light. Those moments are misperceptions as we reach the edge of our conscious awareness. They are where the light of consciousness has not yet illuminated those aspects of the Self here in this dimension.
We're here to train the mind to perceive our wholeness, the Soulful Self. The most effective thing we can do is teach it to serve love – to serve the soul.
“On a clear day, you can see forever.”—Burton Lane
Several years ago, after a somewhat worrisome eye diagnosis, I had the extraordinary experience of looking out my window and seeing the external world moving in perfect synchronicity to the Andrea Bocelli music I was listening to. Every detail—people walking, cars passing, tree leaves in the wind—was part of a divinely choreographed dance of deeply connected oneness. And I too was part of it. There was nothing in the universe that sat alone on the sidelines within God’s creation. And I could see this so clearly that the power and beauty of it moved me to tears. Infinity vision, beyond an eye diagnosis.
When I first heard the diagnosis “breast cancer,” I was lost in shock and fear. How could this happen in my life? To me?! After a few days, I gradually was able to re-center in the peace within me, to remember that everything that happens in my life is part of a soul plan that I was part of designing before my birth. Nothing is a coincidence, and everything is connected to everything else. I am one soul in one lifetime on one planet. Yet I am also part of the entire fabric of being in the universe. Sometimes it takes loss or crisis in our lives to fully realize this. When things fall away or apart, the long view becomes more visible.
There is so much unfolding for so many in the world right now. My invitation is to embrace, with loving presence, what it is you are feeling in your body.
Do you desire to walk, talk, live, and breathe as one who allows life to unfold magnificently, no matter what is happening "out there?" You have the ability to integrate, live, and manifest as the Essence you are so that you consciously receive deep truth from the universe.
As we pay attention to what's happening in the body and ignite circuitry, we discover how to live without being stopped by the hesitations, procrastinations, or self doubt we land in when our thinking mind simply doesn't “know” the answer.
Particularly right now, mass consciousness is powerful. When “the news” tells us how "things are going to be," and we believe what they say; it's what happens. The news precedes reality because our thoughts precede reality. I'm not saying to completely disconnect or ignore the world. However, when you plug in, pay attention to the body, notice where there is a charge, and build circuits.
Spiritual and metaphysical practitioners and shops have become increasingly easy to find both online and brick and mortar stores. We can hire a psychic, a coach, buy crystals and essential oils very easily now. Part of me loves this, but part of me wonders if this is a place where ethics and spirituality can thrive together.
Years ago, I became certified as a life coach. The certification was not required, but I felt it carried some reference to credibility. There was nothing riveting offered in the class. Most of the material seemed like common sense, and my background in nursing certainly helped. The class was an eye opener; many people with a huge variety of skills sets and backgrounds had the desire to help others.
I also became certified as an Angel reader. The certification is a little cringy, but again, I felt it showed some intention of training. What I now offer clients is from years of experience and my ability to connect with the other side. This ultimately is what makes psychics and mediums skillful.
There is no regulation on psychics, mediums, energy workers, or coaches. I’m not saying that there should be formal guidance, but I do believe ethics and talent should play a significant role in the longevity and success of all practitioners.
Anytime you get stressed out and overwhelmed and you wonder how it’s going to work out and how life is going to unfold, it’s because you’ve forgotten you are God. When you recognize this is not who you are and you make a shift in yourself, all of the obstacles fall away.
When you actually stop dividing up your energy, meaning you stop creating your energy into a form and you allow yourself to stay in wholeness, you operate as the totality of your unified field. God has taken infinite forms. The formless has taken infinite forms. And, through those infinite forms it is waking up to itself.

As the Lionsgate Portal opens building to the rising of the Brightest Blue Star Sirius on August 8th, its ancient alignment with the Giza Plateau, Pyramid And Sphynx speaks to us in a Light Encoded Language of our True Heart Mission In Love As Love Everlasting, calling unto you with the Lion’s Heart of courage, strength and freedom to ‘drop your nets and follow Him’ as the Lion of your Greater-Self takes us home to our creativity and personal power.
The 8:8 Lionsgate is a Celebration Of Your Soul. Contemplate that. Not the ego or lower self, but True Divine Identity. To do so is to be honest with the self, to connect with love, to forgive and to surrender to Soul Plan.
The Soul now and always had a plan for each of us greater than our fears. The Soul knows no fear. Where IT lives in Oneness with God, fear does not exist. The Soul lives within you. A place of peace and no fear lives within you. You can find it!
Throughout the years, I personally have learned how important it is to be loving to myself by maintaining my own energy so as not to absorb the energy around me. I’m talking about the energy of the living, as well as the deceased. As sensitive beings we have a tendency to absorb the energies around us, and we take on the negative energy unknowingly when we are experiencing fear in some way. If we choose to, maintaining and protecting your own energy and vibration is very important. Many people live in a world where they absorb the negative thoughts and feelings of both living and deceased energies. At times, this energy can feel overwhelming and scary; therefore, people start to live in fear of the Spirit world.
I tend to use words “protect” and “maintain” interchangeably. The word protection is perceived as the safeguarding of somebody or something – the act of preventing somebody or something from being harmed or damaged; or the state of being kept safe. However, when I use the word protection, I mean it in a sense of maintaining your own energy, being mindful of your energy and how you absorb or take on the energy of others around you. Protection means to witness rather than absorb. Be an observer of energy, of Spirit … not an absorber of it.
I have received several messages from spirit during my life that were, at the time, “too unbelievable” for the logical mind, as spirit described earlier. It’s clear to me now that I needed tangible proof to penetrate through the walls I had put up around me, mostly in an attempt to protect myself from my own psychic sensitivities. One of the most memorable displays of spirit giving me a sign happened during the time I lived in Los Angeles in my twenties.
I had a good friend at the time named Tawny who invited me to lunch one day. We met downtown, and before our salads had even arrived at the table she told me that she thought she saw an angel and had to talk about it.
“I’ve been reading about angels. Did you know that they’re able to come to us in human form? They can help us when we need it, but we have to ask for their help,” Tawny stated matter-of-factly.
To be honest, I thought this was far-fetched, but I listened. She went on to tell me how she had been in a crowded elevator, at her workplace, with a man who had the face of an angel. The mysterious man smiled at her, and she felt warm in a way that she had not felt before. This was proof to her that there was truth to what she had read. Tawny wasn’t the most spiritual person I knew, so I was particularly intrigued. Frankly, I think I was a little jealous. Why had I not seen angels? As I was driving home from work that day, I said out loud, “Show me an angel. I want to see an angel appear.”

Most people are familiar with the word vortex in relation to energy centers at Sedona, Arizona, associated with various points in the physical landscape there, such as Cathedral Rock. These are believed to be places where powerful spiritual connections can take place. Other well-known energy spots, or sacred sites, are at Stonehenge, Machu Picchu, Haleakala Crater, the Great Pyramid, and the ancient Maya cities of Tulum and Tikal, as well as the underwater Atlantis Road near Bimini.
Not all vortexes are famous though. You may live close to one or more, as I do (I believe nearby Mt. Auburn Cemetery is a sacred energy vortex). Vortexes can take many forms and spark a variety of experiences, physical and nonphysical. At Mt. Auburn (and other places like Machu Picchu and Tikal), I have felt connected to something greater than my physical body, beyond time and space. Each sacred site I have visited unfolds into an interdimensional journey; the very quality of the light is extraordinary, heavenly. And this is how I have come to perceive vortexes: places where an intense flow of energy back and forth links the two dimensions of Heaven and Earth.
