This Is The Moment EVERYTHING Changes!

The energy is expansive. The joy is contagious. The excitement is exhilarating. And the potential is limitless.

Seeing Basic Goodness – Part 2

Most of us long to trust our goodness, but get caught in stories of deficiency and striving to affirm we’re ok. These talks look at the block to realizing the loving awareness that is our essence, and the practices that help us see this essential goodness – in ourselves, dear ones and in those we might habitually consider different or “other.” Both talks include reflections that can help us appreciate the basic goodness that lives through these precious, changing forms.

Think of some of the people you like and are drawn to you.

Now attempt to look at each of them as if you were seeing them for the first time, not allowing yourself to be influenced by your past knowledge or experience of them, whether good or bad.

Look for things in them that you may have missed because of familiarity, for familiarity breeds staleness, blindness and boredom. You cannot love what you cannot see afresh. You cannot love what you are not constantly discovering anew.

Miraculous Discoveries

I stepped out on my deck and was pulled into the moment of all that was taking place around me. It was the sounds that I connected to first. The squirrels talking loudly in their world. Our wind chime reacting to the breeze. Sea gulls chasing a much larger eagle through the sky. An ambulance too far away to hear, but I could see the flashing lights. It became obvious to me that we are surrounded by choices; choices of where to place our attention.

We can find ourselves fully experiencing the moment by accident, or by purposefully calling our attention to the moment. Sometimes we need courage. Other times we need healing to help us embrace awareness. I discovered my ability to fall into the moment by accident. Growing up I enjoyed sitting outside in the presence of animals. Nature and animals were one of the sweetest parts of my childhood. Both of these have helped me connect. They have both helped me heal. I have also learned that if we have suffering anywhere in the world, we all suffer.

3 Mantras That Can Help You Get Through Any Crisis

In the face of a crisis—whether the loss of a job, the end of a relationship, a betrayal or a financial setback—the human mind has a tendency to react in conditioned, limited ways that usually only intensify our pain. We may ruminate on the past, getting stuck in feelings of resentment, regret or self-pity. Or we may project into the future, getting caught up in fears and worst-case scenarios. Instead of becoming trapped in the mind’s repetitive and ultimately self-defeating thought loops, you can use the following three mantras to move through a difficult situation and return to your innate state of balance and well-being.

The Art of Compassion

Have you ever found yourself standing in line for a ticket, when someone pushes in front of you saying they’re going to miss their train if they don’t get their ticket quickly? You have two choices, either to be really annoyed and irritated or to show compassion and extend forgiveness. Of course, you don’t know whether they would miss their train or not, as you don’t know their situation … but to extend your forgiveness by trying to put yourself in their shoes, to appreciate their situation is much harder to do. For all you know, they might have young children in daycare or school, and if they miss their train, they won’t be back in time to pick them up.

I’m fascinated on a spiritual level that many of us don’t always see that compassion is all about that deep level of connectiveness between ourselves and others. Being able to demonstrate compassion proves that we can push the boundaries of our tolerance and understanding beyond what we believe. It’s worth the time and effort to explore how to push that boundary of understanding further, and with practice it’s possible to become even more compassionate.

The Vibration of Memories

I recently overheard an Alaskan Elder speaking nostalgically about a childhood treat of Muktuk. This caused me to pause. Many of us recall our younger self, as a way to connect with peace. This is in part because we feel the vibration of love in the memory. Babies and young children live with an open heart. They easily connect to the infinite love of the Universe. Our younger selves are aware of the beautiful vibrational energy that always surrounds us. Our sweet memories hold the awareness of loving energy. It is this awareness of potential that can guide us through our entire life.

From my childhood, I frequently recall the feeling of warm dirt beneath my bare feet and the smell of plants heating up in the sun. When I imagine the warmth of the dirt, it’s as though I step into a frame work or picture that never changes and is always waiting for me. I also remember feeling the energy of our animals. The horses, cows and goats each had a different energetic pull. Everything still touches me and feels uniquely different, but it is all part of the whole. I can recognize things individually or as a whole. This is vibrational energy of pure potential.

As children age, many begin to accumulate blocks where they once received pure source energy. Blocks can occur as we learn of fear based ideas. The desire to feel the incredible connection to love remains, and even acts as a compass for life. It is the seeking of love that brings us back to our memories. It is the blocks that drive us forward to forget the past. We all fall somewhere on the spectrum of how we live our lives. We are all somewhere in the past, future or in this very moment.

The key to living our potential, is creating a life that allows each of us to experience this moment. Our highest good calls for creating habits that keep our intuitive channels open.

For example, I recognize my body calls for time in the sun. I also meditate frequently and know that nature and animals are part of my prescription for wellness. I want each of us to experience pure potential in all aspects of life. Movement and change can free us from our blocks. As fear is released Inspiration is found. Connecting to loving memories is only one way to experience Divine Energy. We always have the ability to summon a higher power into all that we do. This is awareness. Tradition, music, words, food, touch, laughter, everything carries a vibration. It is a great gift to experience love, the vibration that carries us through eternity.

CHANNELING

Feeling the magnetic pull around you and within you, is completely normal. This is allowing the wake of energy or the movement of energy to occur so, that which you seek, is pulled directly into your vision, path and soul and future. There is a training aspect of learning how to control that which you desire and that which you think is your destiny. Let the message of absolute truth be pulled to you. Your truth is to understand that we are all here for the briefest of moments. Everything is happening at once and this moment is allowing you to see your human potential. You have the oneness in your nature that no longer needs to search. You know the totality of love. This vibration rests deep within you... it is fresh with the courage to share the divine energy with all that shares this moment. Understand that creation is here now, and is nothing more than an unfathomable blink or flash of light, or even a thought. Creation is bound by nothing. It is the vastness that remains outside of creation that allows us to explore deeper meaning and understanding. It is this quest... this journey to find the answers that many seek.. this is found in the energy that surrounds all that is.. and yet how can that be? The layers of potential are endless. The eternal quest for answers is endless. The eternal connection to finding and experiencing love in deeper ways is endless, just as we are. This moment is endless.
End of channeling

I think the greatest message here is that we can view this moment as endless or a fragment of a second. However we come to understand eternity, or this moment, doesn’t change what eternity is. I don’t believe that very much of humanity has the capacity to truly comprehend eternity, or our potential. I also see all that is, or all that is created, surrounded by nothing or simply pure potential. I’m not clear on the energetic exchange, but it feel like one occurs. We all experience every energetic exchange and frequency to remind us of why we are here.

We are collectively finding our pure potential.

May you experience pure potential and delight!

Plants: Our Teachers In The Consciousness Revolution

I’ve written in previous newsletters that you and I are incredibly blessed because we are part of the greatest revolution in history: The Consciousness Revolution.

This revolution has come none too soon. Because humans are navigating our fragile space station, Earth, towards disaster, it is imperative that we reboot our navigational systems – our consciousness and perceptions about what it means to be human on this planet.

Many years ago, as I’ve written in several of my books, my life was saved and forever changed by plants served by a Shuar shaman deep in the Amazon rain forest. I’d never heard of ayahuasca at that time. All I knew was that it had a profound impact on my consciousness. For me, the most important thing I learned that first night and many afterwards, as I trained to be an ayahuasca shaman, is that plants have a consciousness and they are insisting on sharing it with us humans.

When Is It Okay to Feel Really Terrible?

The more we believe that our frequency is responsible for our reality, the more we become afraid of the moments when we feel less than cheerful. These are usually the moments we feel we can’t afford to be down. I.e. I need to raise my frequency so I can pay my bills.

Herein lies the dilemma. When we’re experiencing an off day emotionally, we then decided it is wrong, and attempt to fight it in an effort to change it. This is really just adding fuel to the fire.

Have you ever left an inspirational seminar or a retreat only to find that the days after are emotionally heavy and maybe even depressive? This is because you had spent time in a heightened frequency and raised the bar of what you expect for yourself and your life by setting new intentions and goals. When a person does this, it creates emotional upheaval and a systematic purging of all that was holding the lesser reality in place.

I’ve referred to it in the past as a garbage day of the soul. As the limiting or negative belief structures leave a person, they will feel the lower energetic qualities of them move out of their system.

This is where we give thanks and find appreciation for the less than cheerful emotional energetic stream of energy. If we look at it this way you can see the importance of not making it a bad thing or fighting it.

The best thing to do when this happens is to practice taking a step back from them and remind yourself that although you feel this way, there are still a lot of blessings to be thankful for. Take on the role of loving parent and gently redirect your thought process back to something more rational and positive. In one moment you could feel the particular issue is just the end of the world. An hour later for no apparent reason you could feel that the same issue isn’t as bad as you thought it was when the toxicity was leaving.

If you’re experiencing this level of negativity appear over an issue, it only means that you just have not yet found the right solution.

You're Part Of A Greater System Of Energy

Have you ever had the experience of wanting something to work out sooooo much? You come up with an action plan, make a wish, keep praying, and visualize. You’d even do a rain dance if you had to. Yet, all the signs from the Universe are telling you to let go and stop putting your goals ahead of your relationships and the world around you. When you’re tired of all the fighting and you’re finally present in the “not knowing” of the mystery, the Divine leads you to your highest outcome… one that is often better than what you first wished for.

Humility is that place within you that understands you’re not alone and cannot live in isolation. Rather, you’re part of a greater system of energy—from your relationships and community to the Divine and All That Is. You receive information that does not come directly from you or your own personal knowledge, but instead through this greater system. And as part of this web, you also cannot just make things happen on your own, even if you keep trying to manifest and use the law of attraction. (I know, that can be a tough concept to digest.)

How Real Is the Soul?

Depending on which polls you consult, more than half of Americans and up to 67% believe that a person's soul goes to heaven or hell after death. This belief seems unusually strong considering that more and more Americans no longer identify with a fixed religion. "I'm not religious, but I’m spiritual" has become a common sentiment, and yet the idea of the soul continues to hold its place. One might even say it outstrips God as a matter of belief.

Look at how deeply embedded the word "soul" is in our culture, from soul music to soul searching. Once a word takes old, so does the concept it represents. To a pure rationalist, there's no reason to say that the gospels sung in African American churches are more soulful than a Beethoven symphony. When someone searches his soul, the psychological reality is that he is usually just consulting his conscience or weighing issues of right and wrong that came from childhood upbringing.

The Temple Is You

Your physical form is not a throw-away container to be mistreated or ignored and then discarded at the end of your life with reluctance or relief. As the greatest mystics have said, your body is a temple. It is the holy shrine that houses God and your eternal soul and is to be treated with honor and gentleness. Perhaps even awe. It is an amazing gift to be alive on this planet at this time. At any time really. There is great mystery involved in our beingness, most of which we will never understand while we are in our physicality. However, we can experience that mystery as the miracle that it is in every moment of our lives.

Can The Spirit World Help Us? | Soul Inspirations 271

Many people believe that the Spirit World is part of our world. As a practicing medium, it’s my belief that in reality, we are and always will be part of their world. The Spirit World is our real home. We all came from that divine place, as it’s made up of God, The Divine Source, Angels, Spirit Helpers, Guides, our loved ones, and our friends. They are made of the same energy as you, and that beautiful spiritual force that binds the Universe and heavens is also part of you. It’s the power of love that constantly keeps us connected to one another. One of my favorite sayings that you will often hear me repeat during my demonstrations is: “Those in the Spirit World want to talk to you—as much as you want to talk to them!” They want to help us, gently guide us, and inspire us to be all that we can be here in the physical world. Sometimes we simply just have to ask.

Try This Simple Night Meditation Called "The Evening Review"

Successful people maintain a positive focus in life no matter what is going on around them. They stay focused on their past successes rather than their past failures, and on the next action steps that will get them closer to the fulfillment of their goals rather than on all the other distractions that life presents to them. They think about their successes in the morning and practice day and night meditation as well.

Successful people are constantly proactive in the pursuit of their chosen objectives.

An important part of any focusing regimen is to set aside time at the end of the day—just before going to sleep—to meditate on your successes, review your goals, focus on your desired ideal future successes, and make specific plans for what you want to accomplish the next day.

Why Did We Create God?

There is no denying that the different versions of God in world religions has led to historical violence and conflict, which humanitarians have tried to end by saying that there is only one God, implying that such conflicts are pointless. But is there only one God? The conflicting versions of God all attempt to grasp God in reality, so every version actually is God for that religion.

Atheists claim that all of these versions are fictional to begin with, but this misses the point. Human beings have experienced the spiritual dimension of life for as long as history can tell. The need for God grew out of the same need as modern science: to explain a fundamental aspect of Nature. The problem is that there is a gap between this need for explanations and the answers arrived at.

In this gap creativity went to work. The gods and God are human creations, constructs of the mind. Faced with unanswerable dilemmas the human mind went to work to fashion a supernatural dimension presided over by a ruler, or rulers, who stand in for rulers here on Earth, being human, emotional, unpredictable, beautiful, terrible, merciful, vengeful--pick any human trait and you can match it to some version of God worshipped now or in the past. The rational God of Thomas Jefferson's enlightened God is a projection of his ideal human portrayed on a superhuman scale, just as Jehovah, the complete opposite of Jefferson's God, was an idealized projection by ancient rabbis.

Our Sleepy World is Awakening

I hold the vision of our world waking up, and taking notice of all the possibilities that have been waiting for our attention. Many have recognized the stirring of the new energy and have been preparing for a monumental shift, or another Big Bang moment.

All the stars are aligned we are all allowing our awareness to expand.

Together we are finding ourselves exactly where we should be… the moment of Truth. As the Earth has been resting, part of humanity has been experiencing fear instead of awareness. Soon we will all feel an awakening as the Earth yawns and stretches. Our planet’s deep inhale will hold new elements. It brings in a burst of cosmic energy and the ability to expand. With the expansion we will see changes on the surface, and feel quickening deep in the core. It also brings a vast amount of creative energy that has been waiting. In the point between inhale and exhale there is a moment of stillness. This may hold the polar shift. On the deep exhale, all that is not needed in the new consciousness will be released. We will then experience great nurturing for all of humanity and beyond.

Igniting Boundless Receiving

Relax. In relaxing, your entire being opens to receiving all the gifts of life: abundance, health, vitality, love, inner peace.  You are so much more than you know. It is time to restore your inner luminosity. In this meditation, I will take you on a journey through your vibrational centers, filling your entire being with light. With each deep breath, the flow of energy will increase, and your true abundant nature will move to the fore. Receive the blessing and power of your own life force and see it reflected in the world around you. A life of boundless abundance is yours.

What is Standing Between You and Who You Deserve to Be - Chasing Moonbeams and Butterflies

I have forever been looking “out there” for what was within me the entire time, or as one of my mentors told me, “What you are looking for, you are looking with.”

I have been writing since the age of four (I learned to read at age two) but whenever my mother would catch me writing, she would confiscate the papers and throw them away along with the admonishment that writers are losers and I would “never be a writer!”

It has been said, “Follow your passion and the money will follow,” and I believe that. However, how many of you feel, or have felt like me, that you cannot be self-supporting by doing what you love. That has been an on and off process for me using a myriad of tools to get in touch with why that is.

I am doing what I love since I retired from my real career but not making any money and I have had to take a serious look at why?   It felt like I have always been simply chasing moonbeams, falling stars and rainbows looking for something but not knowing what.  I just kept writing.  One morning – before dawn – one of those moonbeams struck me upside the head with another memory.  It is definitely not a new memory but one which has always been just hanging out with me.  It is a sentence I frequently heard from my mother:  “Writers are losers.”

How to Really Be Yourself

If you think about being yourself, what does that mean? If asked, "Do you like being who you are?" not everyone would say yes--some people dislike themselves. This can be the product of low self-esteem or perhaps a deep sense of guilt. Liking yourself doesn't have to occur all the time, however. There are times when you behave in ways you aren't proud of and say things you wish you could take back. Yet being yourself is more mysterious than like or dislike.

To be yourself, you have to know who you are. "I" isn't simple and in many ways is very elusive. A two-year-old writing on the walls with crayon is being herself, and so is a middle-school bully tormenting a classmate on social media. Running wild, acting on your worst impulses, and flouting all the normal rules are behaviors worth suppressing. But if you are candid about yourself, such impulses exist inside you.

If you take a look at how your mind operates, you'll quickly realize that many agendas compete for your attention. In certain situations you call upon a wide range of emotions that want to be expressed. You act differently at work than at home. Habit, memory, and old conditioning compete over your attention. these agendas have their own claims, and there has to be a decision-maker and overseer who chooses which persona to adopt, which feelings to suppress, which behavior is appropriate at any given moment.

Get In Touch With Nature | Soul Inspirations 270

I’m so truly delighted that winter is finally over, and Spring is trying to emerge! To see the spring bulbs pushing their way up and the profusion of spring colors starting to change the landscape from the grey blanket of winter snow to the fresh vibrant colors of Spring.

Every year, I remind myself that when I witness the re-birth of nature, it’s important to stop and tell myself how important it is to reconnect with the divine source and spend some much-needed time with nature. Fortunately for me, I have a little dog who insists I do that every day … but there’s more to connecting with nature than just walking my dog.

It’s essential that you don’t forget that we’re all part of nature, yet regardless of whether you live in the country or the city, it’s easy to lose touch and for nature to become almost alien to your daily routine. Being indoors for all these winter months, it easy to forget nature, but next time it rains, stop and look at the rain drops! Experience the breeze of the warm winds on your face or go and walk bare foot in the new grass, so that you start to reconnect with nature again.
