It's easy to forget that we are all perfect in our own design. Sometimes we muck it up with habits and choices that do not serve us.

Three Easy Ways To Change Your Inner Energy

1131682038845602.sa0Pb8BMgDPYzHR9pUC9_height640 Three Easy Ways To Change Your Inner Energy

The entire universe is made up of energy, and that includes YOU. This energy can be found both inside and outside you. Sometimes energy feels light and warm, expansive and uplifting. Imagine a spring day after a hard and cold winter. You turn your face up to the sun, letting its soothing warmth permeate your skin. It lulls you into an infinitely peaceful state. Sometimes energy feels dark and heavy, like the charged air before a violent thunderstorm. The sky looks ominous and foreboding. The light disappears and everything feels uneasy and menacing.

When you are filled with this kind of energy it can feel difficult to evade. All you know is that things just seem heavy, without joy, motivation, or inspiration. So when you feel this way, what can you do to get your energy back on track?

The first thing you should do is try to discover where the negativity is coming from. Maybe it’s your job, and you can’t quite seem to leave it at the office. If it’s a personal relationship that is the cause, the heavy feelings can pervade almost every other area of your life. Or maybe you’ve been feeling this way for so long that you simply can’t figure out where it’s coming from or what started it. You just know that you need change.

The good news is that you CAN change your inner energy! When you do, you change your life!

Here are three very simple steps you can take starting right now to eliminate that heavy, negative energy and replace it with lighter, joyful, positive energy:

  1. Live in the Moment – This is the number one thing you can do to clear out that negativity, and begin seeing everything around you with gratitude and enthusiasm. When we feel negative energy hanging around, it often is a holdover from things in the past we feel we’ve done wrong or feel guilty about, or anticipating and worrying about things in the future that we may or may not have any control over. Living solidly in the present moment eliminates the worry and guilt, and replaces it with what you see and feel around you – right now. And what’s around us right now is what’s important, because it truly is the only thing that is real..
  2. Eliminate Judgement– Casting judgement on others also casts a shadow over ourselves. This is because when we judge others, it’s usually because we feel jealous, vulnerable, or threatened by them or things that they’re doing. When we realize we have no control over anyone else but ourselves, and we can only change ourselves, it simply isn’t logical to judge others. From an emotional standpoint, replacing judgement with unconditional love (loving someone entirely, flaws and all) can be a liberating and freeing feeling..
  3. Serve the Greater Good – Get out and do for others! Volunteer your time to a charity that speaks to your heart. Work at a food pantry, or a homeless shelter. Offer your unique skills and talents to your local women’s shelter. Visit the elderly in nursing homes. Visit children in the oncology department at a children’s hospital. There are endless opportunities to brighten your own energy by going out into the world and brightening someone else’s life..
