Living a life that you love means that you’ve found a way to live into your individual purpose. Everyone’s dreams are unique to them.
Most people don’t spend a lot of time thinking about what they would love. But that’s the question I encourage you to consider today.
There are so many possible answers to that question. People say things like, “a big house” or “my dream house”.
But what does that look like for you? How big is the yard? What does the kitchen look like? Where is it located? How many rooms would you love? How is it furnished?
A life you truly love consists of things that speak to who you are and your own purpose.
To have that existence you dream of, it’s important to consider every area of your life. Your relationships, the work you do, the people you impact, the causes you support, the way you spend your time, and where in the world you travel all make up the ingredients of a life that fills you with joy and purpose.
I invite you to think about what you would love. Because the truth is that you’re creating your reality right now. You’re bringing opportunities into your life through your vibration and the ideas you pay attention to.
This is what we call the cause of our results. It’s a simple formula. If you look around at your life, you can see exactly what your conscious or subconscious mind concentrates on.
Our thoughts influence our feelings, which influence our actions, which influence our results.
If you want a different result, you must start by changing your thinking.
Without a new direction, our minds will continue to create exactly what we’ve always created.
A full-spectrum life is one where you are working toward (and have attained) what you would truly love in every quadrant of your life. Often, when you look at your life, you’ll find one or two areas where you’re very unhappy or not content.
For most of us, there are many areas we’d love to improve.
There are 4 quadrants to your life. They are:
Looking at these 4 quadrants, what would you love?
For health and well-being, you might love to achieve a healthy weight or gain back mobility you’ve lost. You may have a chronic health issue that you’d love to overcome.
Love and relationships is an important quadrant for true happiness. You desire true love and deep friendships. This might be a new relationship or a deeper connection with the people already in your life.
Most people think of vocation as your work. It can be how you make a living, but it might not be… vocation has more to do with your purpose. How would you love to use your talents in the world to make a difference?
Time and money freedom is often the quadrant that people find lacking. You can have a successful career, but not have the time or money freedom to enjoy that success.
Life is full of challenges. You grow and learn lessons through the challenges you face. Even problems offer opportunities to grow.
In your life, if you always strive for new dreams, you’ll constantly evolve. A dream isn’t a single destination. Without new challenges and visions for a greater future, people stagnate.
We are all spiritual beings living a human experience. We all can strive for bigger and better things.
When you challenge yourself, you push outside of your comfort zone. While your current situation might be okay, or even enviable to some people, is it really the life you would love?
To be able to attain your dreams, you must challenge yourself to change the things that haven’t brought them to you so far, right?
There is another word for challenge — opportunity.
You can’t stay in your comfort zone and keep learning. If you look at challenges as opportunities for growth, you’ll be able to face them with the enthusiasm that will help you overcome any circumstance.
Dream Building is what we do. Brave Thinking is how we do it.
If you’ve never studied with us at the Brave Thinking Institute before, you might wonder what that means. Brave Thinking gives us a set of tools that helps us with each phase of building the life we would love.
As Brave Thinkers, we know that we only must know what.
What do we want?
We don’t look at how. In fact, if we know how, it’s a sure sign that the dream isn’t big enough.
Common hour thinking gives you limits. It’s full of paradigms that talk you out of your dreams. Brave Thinking knows that those limits don’t exist.
It is a constant commitment to pay attention to your thinking. You can’t just create a vision for what you would love and never think about it again.
You must keep that vision in mind, put yourself in that vision regularly, and to come from a place of already having what you desire.
There are three phases of DreamBuilding:
All three of these phases are integral to making the real changes that will help you transform your life.
Blueprinting is where we create a clear vision for what we would love in each of the quadrants of our life.
This is the foundation for the transformation you’d love to see.
To create a clear vision, you must work with your dreams. The more real and specific, the more easily you’ll be able to manifest them.
For example, if your dream is to sail to Spain, you can feel the salt air on your skin and hear the sounds of the ocean.
Blueprinting isn’t easy. Most of us need to work with our vision repeatedly.
Generic “wants” aren’t enough. Everyone would like a big house, lots of money, and a desirable partner. The details that help you fully imagine yourself in that space are what make it unique and special to you.
During DreamBuilder Live Virtual Events, we give you a 5-point test to help you gain clarity on your visions before you invest time in working with them. This way, you know for certain that the dream you’re focusing on is the one that will truly help you live a life you love.
Bridging is the second step in Dream Building. This is where you recognize and bridge the gap between where you are today and where you are in your dream life.
Part of the process in bridging is dealing with the paradigms and thought patterns that have created the results you currently have. This is where you identify the limiting old beliefs that have held you back, and release them to embrace new beliefs that will help you succeed.
Building is the final step of Dream Building, and it’s where you get to take inspired action. After all, wishing for something doesn’t make it appear. That’s not how the Law of Attraction really works. It’s putting yourself in a vibration that’s equal with the life you would love, and then taking the actions that match that vibration.
You’ll find that changing your thought patterns by identifying your vision and releasing the negative paradigms that don’t serve you do something magical. Once you build that foundation, you suddenly see new opportunities you didn’t notice before.
With a clear vision, you can start to define action steps that will help you move in the direction of your dream.
Today you’ve learned about Dream Building. We’ve talked about what it means to live a life you love and why a full-spectrum life is important.
You’ve learned what Brave Thinking challenges are and why they skyrocket your ability to manifest the life you would love. You’ve learned the 3 phases of dream building and a brief explanation of how each phase works.
Lastly, I’d like to talk a bit about immersion.
You have the formula right here. You can take what you’ve learned with this blog and start applying it to your life and visions. With commitment and practice, it will work for you.
That’s the truth. If you commit to changing your thoughts and focusing on the vibration for the life you want, you will transform your life.
The people you surround yourself with have a tremendous impact on how you think, what you think, and how you feel.
When you surround yourself with people who are also transforming their lives, you support each other and fulfill your dreams faster. If you work with mentors, you learn quicker and more effectively than you can on your own.
You can follow this blog and learn more about Brave Thinking. We offer plenty of free resources, and I invite you to tune in to keep learning.
But I also highly recommend immersing yourself, through joining groups of like-minded people, working with mentors, and attending events.
