It's easy to forget that we are all perfect in our own design. Sometimes we muck it up with habits and choices that do not serve us.

Your Unique Happiness Quotient

Unique Happiness
Happiness is what we all chase, although differently. This is also because everyone experiences happiness differently. It is actually the gauge of man's feelings living within his personal environment
Feelings, some people seem to realize, are highly overrated. And yet, what is man, if he is not going by his own feelings. Chasing happiness and joy, is basically chasing your own inherent feelings.

Katherine Mansfield has described it as the most rapturous moment, like the glowing sun. We all chase some sensations, but these sensations only come to us when we least expect them.

It is the belief of most people, that we could find happiness, if only we knew where to look for it. It is a state of Self understanding.
Curiosity is the occupational disease of most scientists and journalists. There is an entire industry, selling pills against pathological dejection. These are profits from the discoveries through anger fear and depression, which are  opposites of the joy derived from happiness.

Molecular biology never shows, what transpires within our ten trillion brain cells. Psychological experiments show how these internal changes affect our behavior. The adult behavior continues to change. Changes are triggered by our thoughts. Circuits in our brains are altered and new connections forged in.

Our thoughts and emotions , which are totally influenced by our environment, are directly responsible, for our levels of happiness and joy. With the right exercises, we can increase our capacity for happiness.

We can easily identify, that as much as our environment is responsible for our happiness, so is our genetic structure. So we can say that, not only is our brain responsible for our happiness, but it is also our cultural surroundings and the daily occurrences, that set the processes in motion.

This is the heavy price paid by 25 percent of the world population. There is a culture of depression, that slowly seeps in, with the advent of civilization. Depression itself is threatening people, like the Plague did in the early ages. We need urgently to change this.

We urgently need to step into a culture of happiness. "Joy is the transition of mind into a state of happiness." Joy affects the body as much as the mind. Happiness strengthens the body.

We can say that just as much as unhappiness destroys our health, happiness strengthens it. Fear is the main factor controlling our stress levels and thereby affecting our health.

Happiness makes people smart, not just momentarily, but permanently. Positive feelings promote new nerve connections. Positive moods trigger more successful scenarios.

Everyone has a unique happiness quotient. We can reprogram our minds to happiness, to lead joyful and more successful lives.
Steer your inner drive towards happiness, and lead a more joyful life.
